Acts 6:7

“So God’s message continued to spread. The number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem, and many of the Jewish priests were converted too.”

The power of the gospel cannot be denied. The gospel is the solution to every problem facing mankind. Romans 1:16 tells us that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, and 2 Peter 3:9 reveals God’s heart—that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance and the knowledge of Christ.

By the gospel we are saved, and by the gospel we grow and mature. This is God’s priority, and He has called us into partnership with Him to ensure that the gospel reaches the ends of the earth. One way you become a mouthpiece for the gospel is by partnering with the outreach efforts of your local church.

At Grace House Church, God has given us tools such as the Grace Daily Devotionals, podcasts, video clips, and livestreams. These resources are not meant to remain within the four walls of the church—they are designed to reach homes, cities, and nations.

Just the other day, someone stopped me and showed me a copy of the Grace Daily Devotional that had been forwarded to her. She saw my picture on the header and asked if it was really me. When I confirmed it was, she shared how deeply the devotional had blessed her. How did that happen? Someone took the time to share it.

However, sharing alone is not enough—we must also pray. Acts 16:14 tells us about Lydia, whose heart the Lord opened to respond to Paul’s message. Notice that it took the power of God for the Word to have an effect on her heart. I believe this was the result of prayer. When we pray for the Word of God to have maximum impact, hearts are stirred and prepared to receive.

Yes, we rejoice that God has given us tools to spread the gospel, but these tools must be used in conjunction with intercession and giving. Our devotionals have entered many homes, but just as it was with Lydia, hearts must be opened by God before lives can be transformed. This is where prayer becomes indispensable.

In this season, make a commitment to pray for the spread of the Grace Daily Devotionals and all ministry materials. Partner in prayer, partner in giving, and partner in sharing. Heaven is counting on you to do your part—starting today.

Prayer Points

• Pray for increased reach of the ministry in our city and around the world.

• Pray that through the message, salvation, healing, hope, peace, and joy will enter the homes of many.

• Pray that through the ministry materials, believers will be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

• Pray that testimonies will abound through the Grace Daily Devotionals and ministry materials, to the glory of Jesus.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am a publisher of God’s Word. I will share with others the same gospel that brought me salvation and hope. I will use every platform the Lord has entrusted to me to see that someone is touched by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Amen.
