THE WORD WILL NOT FAIL YOU

3/24/2025

"The Lord’s words are absolutely reliable. They are as untainted as silver purified in a furnace on the ground, where it is thoroughly refined” (Psalm 12:6).

There may have been times when everything around you seemed like it made no sense at all. Times when you hoped that things would get better, but instead, they suddenly took turn for the worse, and it appeared as though there was no end in sight. At those times, you may have found yourself asking, “What else do I need to do that I have not already done?” You felt like you had come to your wit end, and you began to ponder, “Do I just give up and allow things turn out however they want to or do I keep up the faith and wait for my desired change to manifest?” These kinds of thoughts can be debilitating if not properly managed. They are coded with discouragement and anger, and failure to manage them with the Word can make one indifferent about spiritual things. You begin to observe nonchalance in your relationship with those that have been planted in your life for your good by God. Some people may even entertain the idea of going back to past habits and behaviors of which God has delivered them, as a way of “coping” with these thoughts. But in the midst of it all, be diligent about meditating on what the Word has said.

You may feel like your desired change is being delayed. But I want you to pause for a moment and ask yourself this question: “Is God faithful?” If you answered “yes,” then you must have an unshakable commitment to what He says. Do you know that ever before you were faced with any challenge, you were already declared to be victorious by God? So regardless of the size and weight of the challenge, it doesn’t change the reality that you are more than a conqueror. Hence, your attitude should be that of a victor, not a victim. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.” In other words, whatever comes your way does not have the ability to bring you down. You have been equipped by God to reign over every challenge that comes your way. That situation that has been promoting itself as a hopeless one is really a testimony in disguise.  God has made a way out in His Word. The Word is your way out of any situation. Psalm 12:6 says "The Lord’s words are absolutely reliable. They are as untainted as silver purified in a furnace on the ground, where it is thoroughly refined.” And you can be rest assured that it will work every time you put it to work.

I want to encourage you today; do not give up your fight of faith. It may appear as though things are stagnant or maybe even worse; but at the end of the day, the Word in you will prevail as the Lord has said. So, exalt the Word above the situation; choose the reality of the Word, because God’s Word always works. All things are working together for your good. You may not know how or when but God’s Word is working. The Word will always come through. Don’t give up! Don’t quit! There is light on the other side. Galatians 6:9 says “So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up.”

God bless you

Faith Filled Confession:

God’s Word is everything to me. I believe the Word of God and I trust the Word for my daily living. I am not moved by the transient challenges of life. I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loved me and gave Himself for me. The Word of God has the dominion over my thoughts and my actions. The Word grows in me and prevails over all, in Jesus name, Amen.
