THE WORD LIFE IS THE VICTORY

“Life is spiritual. Your physical existence doesn't contribute to that life. The words that I have spoken to you are spiritual. They are life.”— John 6:63 (GWT)

Christianity is all about the Word of God. Everything in the Kingdom of God functions by it. Even the physical realm is upheld by the Word. As believers, we are born of the Word, and we are called to live, move, and function by the Word.

Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” This means God’s Word is not optional for the believer, it is vital, essential, and foundational. Why? Because God’s Word is God on a mission.

As the Lord declared in Isaiah 55:11,“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” In other words, God’s Word is a creator. It is a performer. It is power in motion. It accomplishes what it says and never returns empty.

Here’s a mystery to ponder: A word is the expression of a thought or feeling, it carries the DNA of its speaker. So when we speak of the Word of God, we are referring to God’s own thoughts and intents, fully expressed and loaded with His very essence. That’s why Luke 1:37 tells us, “For no word from God shall be void of power.” God’s Word is power. God’s Word is ability. Whatever it declares, it manifests. When Jesus told the blind to see, they saw. When He told the lame to walk, they walked. When He spoke to the storm, “Peace, be still,” the winds obeyed.His Word was the miracle. Because the Word is spirit and life (John 6:63).

Here’s the key insight: When you pray and ask for divine intervention, God doesn't step down from His throne, He sends His Word, because He is His Word (John 1:1). Sadly, many believers miss God’s visitation because they expect a physical sign, a dramatic spectacle, or a loud intervention. But God shows up in His Word, quietly, faithfully, and powerfully. If you miss the Word, you miss the miracle. Jesus repeated it plainly: “The words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.” So when you receive God’s Word, you are receiving His life, His nature, His power.

This is why it’s vital to live the Word life, to think it, speak it, meditate on it, and let it shape your decisions and direct your path. Be so yielded to the Word that you’re defenseless before it, as Mary was, when she said, “Be it unto me according to Your Word.” (Luke 1:38)

With this kind of heart, yielded, responsive, and expectant, you’ll be an unstoppable force in the Kingdom of God.

Faith-Filled Confession:

I am an offspring of the Word of God. In the Word, I live, move, and have my being. I stand defenseless before the ministry of the Word, Which builds me up and delivers to me my inheritance in Christ Jesus. I live by the Word. I speak the Word. And I manifest the Word to my world.

Prayer Point

1. Declare that our brethren are guided by the wisdom of God in their associations, jobs, business ventures and partnerships. They are constantly led by the Spirit of God and guided away from error and poor/bad decisions that may incur losses or negative effects on them.( Isa 30:21; Isa 58:11, 1 Cor 1:30)

2. Intercede for our brethren across the zone, that they remain unshakeable, unshaken, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Declare that they will continue to shine as light in the midst of the darkness in the world. (1 Cor 15:58, Philippians 2:13-14; Heb 6:10)

3. Pray for those who have been inconsistent in their faith; that they be no longer children tossed to and fro and that Christ may be formed in their hearts as they are strengthened in those things that are most surely believed among us. (Lk 1:3, Eph 4:14)
