"Now the cities of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho and Beth-hoglah and Emek-keziz..." (Joshua 18:21)
The second city of the tribe of Benjamin is Beth-hoglah. And we said that the tribe of Benjamin is prophetic of the Church, having been Benoni (the son that brought sorrow as in Adam, when he fell in Eden) to become Benjamin (the son of the father's right hand, as in Christ, Jesus and His Church, when God raised him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand). We have also come to know the word "city" in the Bible speaks of an assembly of people with a particular quality to God. That said, "Beth-hoglah," the second city of the Tribe of Benjamin, describes the Church as a people of faith.
In Hebrew, Beth-hoglah means "the House of the Partridge" or the "Assembly of those that leap." The Psalmist is apt to describe these people in Psalm 18:29 when he says, "For by You [God} I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall." A second witness of this description might be found in 2 Samuel 22:30, which repeats it verbatim, "For by You I can run against a troop; By my God I can leap over a wall."
Notice, that there is a template by which the leaping happens. It happens by God. We know that God and His Word are one; therefore, leaping over obstacles happens by the Word of God.
So apart from the truth that the Church is a people of sweet fragrance in the realm of the spirit, we are also the only people who can leap by God. Hear me, the things that present as obstacles to the rest of the world are things that you have been ordained to scale. But to scale these things, it can only be by the Word of God. This is why you cannot be allergic to studying the Bible.
When you study and respond to the Word of God from your spirit, you are enlisting your ability to leap over obstacles by God, no matter what these obstacles are. Habakkuk 3:19 says, "The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills."
Remember, the prophetic destiny of the Tribe of Benjamin is the present-hour reality of the Church, which is that: "Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; In the morning he shall devour the prey, And at night he shall divide the spoil" (Genesis 49:27). In New Testament language, Paul describes it as being "...more than conquerors through Him who loved us." (Romans 8:37)
There is a word for that obstacle that has seemingly confounded you up until this time; your job is to find it and meditate on it until it drives you to leap. We are of the House of the Patridge.
Have a blessed day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I am of the House of Partridge, and by God, I leap over every obstacle in my way because in all things, I am more than a conqueror. My divine destiny is to rule and reign, and for this reason, I live out this destiny in complete agreement with what God has said in His Word about me. Hallelujah!
