THE SYNAGOGUE IN HEAVEN

"But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel" (Hebrews 12:22-24).

When you got born again, a new reality dawned on you. That reality was that you became one with God such that, in the spirit, one could not tell you apart from Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." 

Your oneness with the LORD also gave you access to Mount Zion with all its accompaniments such that you could at once be in Dayton or Abuja or Toronto and be in the throne room of God, worshipping the beauty of His Majesty or attending a summons of God the Judge. The Bible is replete with these kinds of settings where supernatural beings are gathered and causes and claims are made. For example, in Job 1:6, the Bible says, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them." If you study that portion of scripture, you will know that Satan wasn't invited, but he came to the gathering because he had throne room access. Again, in Michaiah's prophecy, we get an inclination of throne room activity. 1 Kings 22:19-21 says, "Then Micaiah said, "Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by, on His right hand and on His left. And the LORD said, 'Who will persuade Ahab to go up, that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead?' So one spoke in this manner, and another spoke in that manner. Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD, and said, 'I will persuade him." 

Understand that meetings are held constantly in the throne room of God, and if you are born-again, you have access to such gatherings according to Hebrews 12:21-23. Understand that the destinies of whole nations, individuals, and people groups are often decided at such meetings and this is why you cannot be a baby asking God for material things all the time. You must grow into your sonship of God. Yes, you have access but to activate your access, you must be deliberate about intercession and soul winning. There are matters, political, economic, and social, that could affect so many people and ultimately determine whether they get saved or not, but God only talks to intercessors about these things. And you can actively enlist today by asking Him what or whom He would have you pray about for Him.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am alert to my role in Heaven. I cooperate with the Spirit of God to deliberate in tongues on matters affecting individuals, families and nations as it impacts the salvation of souls in my locality and across the world. I am not ordinary but a ranking member of the court of God, where destinies are determined. Glory!!!

Prayer Points:

Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you."

• Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. 

• Pray against plans to use the crises in Israel to launch other attacks in the United States.

• Pray for The President of the United States and all who are in positions of authority in the United States.

• Pray for the Church in the United States and worldwide.
