THE SPIRIT WORD

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).
Today's theme scripture is very instructive of the fact that the word of God (which is the counsel of God concerning a person, thing, place, and situation which contains God's provision in Christ Jesus) is a surgical instrument for cutting out unimportant things from your life and at the same time bringing into perfection all that concern you in Christ.
Very often, not the contents of the Word of God with which you come in contact facilitate change but the spirit that accompanies the Word. Jesus said, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life" (John 6:63). It's not just what the minister says during the sermon that is instructional. There are subtleties peculiar to your situation that the Spirit brings to your heart during the meeting that no other person can use to produce a change of outcome. This is why you must always carry a notebook to capture the insights of the Spirit that come to you when the Word of God is given.
That said, there are subtle cues that the Spirit meant to communicate to you directly at the start of this Month of Perfection. Perfection will mean something entirely unique from individual to individual. For some, it may mean the end or completion of an aspect of life; for others, it is a phase leading up to another. One thing is certain, you are not staying the same from this month onwards. So make up your mind to yield to the Spirit concerning the message of the month. If possible, go over it again and again prayerfully, knowing that the depth of your engagement with the Word of God for the month will impact you significantly in the matchless name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Be blessed.
