"Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever." (Daniel 12:3)
Testimonies are for those who are yet to believe. Pay me attention here. Even though you are a believer, believing is progressive. There are things that you have yet to experience because you have yet to believe in the possibilities of their occurrence. This is why testimonies are super important. You have yet to believe for some things because you have yet to hear a testimony that ushers in those possibilities.
No one knew that touching Jesus' garment was a possibility to get healed until the woman with the issue of blood testified about it. The same way, some people may never know that they could ever be free of an addiction or some sought of demonic manipulation until you testify about it. Better still, her testimony was a life line to others who were drowning in their sickness and disease.
Child of God, when you testify, you are shining the light for others and when you listen to a testimony, you are receiving light. This is why it is wise to tell and listen to testimonies. The wisdom of testimonies is that if God did it for one person, He can do same for a multitude of people because He is no respecter of persons.
The other aspect of testifying is that it is a show of love for God and people. The one who testifies is not only showcasing God's power but God's love. When you testify, you are showcasing God's love to others; to give someone a baby; to deliver someone from abuse or debt or addictions.
The import of your testimony to others is that you are saying, "I love you enough to tell you that God's love for you is available in the situation for which I am testifying and you too can be a partaker."
Saints, as we head towards Thanksgiving Day in the United States, plan to bring your testimony to members of your family. Even if you don't live in the US, share your testimonies with the people closest to you. Understand that some of your friends and family need that flicker of light to reimagine their own possibilities in God.
I pray for you today that you will shine by testifying, and that your testimonies will be received in the power of the Spirit such that a greater flow of testimonies will be recorded all week long among your hearers. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
Be blessed! Hallelujah!
Faith-Filled Confession
I am a shining and burning light. My testimonies find miraculous expression in the lives of my hearers. Again this week, there are even greater testimonies recorded to the glory of God. Hallelujah!
