THE SEASON OF REHOBOTH

02/21/2024

"And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, "For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land" (Genesis 26:22).

It is always important to discern the Lord's move when He ushers us into a new realm or dimension. One way to know is that He sends us a word. When God sends His word, He sends it to accomplish a variant of salvation in your soul. Psalm 107:20 says, "He [God our YehoShua] sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

His Word, if received properly, produces a harvest that God desires to have among His people. Today's theme scripture might be juxtaposed with Psalm 16:7, which says, "When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." In essence, a season of favor and fruitfulness is upon us. Certain things you have toiled for will become stressless to obtain. Certain doors that were shut related to employment, business partnerships, and public policy will become open. I see pregnancy kits testing positive in this season and appointment letters being distributed. There will be laughter and shouts of joy during testimony periods when we gather, and some will dance without containment because of this season of REHOBOTH.

It will also be a season marked by the distribution of spiritual gifts. Many will have their spiritual capacities expanded to serve many more believers. 1 Corinthians 12:7 says," But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all."

So why is this important? Understanding the timing and purpose of each visitation the Lord grants is crucial in discerning the appropriate response. In Luke 19:44, speaking about the 70 A.D. siege of Jerusalem, Jesus observed that the Jews would be taken captive by their enemies because they did not know the time of their visitation.

When the Lord ushers a season, an appropriate response is required. Certain actions and confessions demonstrate your faith for the new season. Scripture indicates "of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, [and that] their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command." It is a time to try those things you had tried before without success. It is a time to be audacious and speak boldly of the things that God has put in your heart. And as you respond with faith, that testimony of REHOBOTH that the Lord has earmarked for you will take center stage.

Have a blissful day!

Faith-Filled Confession

It is my season of REHOBOTH. An enlargement of capacity and favor has been granted me. Therefore, I am bold in my God to position, overtake, and assert my rights of increase so that even the camps of opposition are subdued by the awe of God's promotion over my life, family, and ministry.
