THE SEASON OF GREATER GLORY

"And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all" (Acts 4:33).

There is a new level of authority that has been granted to our ministry and it is important to discern it. The Bible says, "When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law" (Matthew 7:28-29). The Lord's authority was discernible then, as it is now. 

We have received a new level of authority and it will become increasingly evident in the projects, activities, and resources that we command. The Spirit of God says, "Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise" (Isaiah 43:19-21).

The first thing to do about the new things the Lord is doing is to acknowledge them. To experience new graces in real-time, you must first see it with the eyes of your spirit. Hear me, we have reached a new threshold and if you are part of this commission, you will begin to experience God's greater glory from this week.  This glory will show up in your evangelism, career, education, finances, vocation, family life, and so on. 

One of the marks of the greater glory of God in your life will be evident in your speech. God will put His words in your mouth to frame your world according to His plan, schedule, and calling for your life. So expect a new set of vocabulary in this new season. The Lord says, " But I am the LORD your God, Who divided the sea whose waves roared— The LORD of hosts is His name. And I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, And say to Zion, ‘You are My people’ ” (Isaiah 51:15-16).

Your confessions, pronouncements, and conversations will be infused with the gift of faith. You will just know with absolute certainty that you are speaking forth the mind of God in various situations, circumstances, and contexts. And little of it will make sense. Think it not strange, my brethren. It is the new level of authority in the realm of the spirit. 

The Bible describes you perfectly in Joel's prophecy. "Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations." A people, great and strong, with no antecedents or replica, refers to you. 

Understand that this year, only our victory, our domination over adversity, and our spreading influence have been reported in heaven. Every contrary report is therefore of no effect. For this reason, confidently advance in the face of adversity, rebellious, and or seemingly impossible situations. This is your season of greater glory. Act like it.

Faith-Filled Confession

I walk in increased influence because the glory of the Lord has risen upon me. I do not settle into the former things but launch out into the new things that the Lord has earmarked for me. I am properly positioned in God to take advantage of His great grace lavished upon us, corporately as church, and on an individual basis. Hallelujah!
