THE REVELATION OF YEHO-SHUA: THE LAMB OF GOD

02/15/2024

"The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)

The third incarnation of Yeho-Shua, the Self-Existent One who saves, is Jesus the Lord before His resurrection. And this is very instructive. The mission of Jesus before his resurrection was to vacuum sin out of this world, and He accomplished this mission when said, "...it is finished..." bowed His head and gave up the ghost (John 19:30).

But Pastor, how can you say Jesus evacuated the world of sin when I sinned yesterday? The sin committed had no basis. As a matter of fact, if you sinned, you did so because of the consciousness of sin and not because of an inherent nature of sin. Sin in this dispensation has no foundation because Yeho-Shua saved the whole world from sin.

The only power of sin is our consciousness of it. Romans 8:5 says, "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit." Living according to the flesh is based on the setting of your mind on the things of the flesh. The good news is that you can begin to reset your mind on the things of the Spirit through meditation because the nature of sin has been obliterated.

But then there is a technology couched quietly in today's theme scripture. This technology is beholding the Lamb who takes the sins of the world. You behold by saying and seeing. For that's the way of the Father. He takes delivery of what He says.

Mark 11:22-23 DRB shows us how the faith of God works, "And Jesus answering, saith to them: Have the faith of God. Amen I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not stagger in his heart, but believe, that whatsoever he saith shall be done; it shall be done unto him."

Sin's biggest deception is that it has a foundation. But if you meditate on the Word of God long enough, the consciousness of sin is supplanted by a consciousness of righteousness that has tap roots. Hebrews 12:28 says, "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear." This is what happens when you intently and consistently behold the Lamb of God.

Keep looking until there is a shift in your heart. God bless you

Faith-Filled Confession

My eyes are set on the Lamb of God. His work is finished on my behalf. Therefore, I live as a god in this world. I lord it over the flesh, sin, adverse beings, and circumstances in the name of Jesus. Amen
