"And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away" (Isaiah 35:10).
You have a mandate as a believer to fulfill certain prophecies. Jesus said, "Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me,) to do thy will, O God" (Hebrews 10:7). As it was with Jesus, so it is for you and me. There are certain prophecies that we have been anointed to fulfill which will remain unfulfilled without our participation. Isaiah 35:10 is one of such prophecies. It says, "And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away."
The term, "the ransomed of the Lord" refers to the unsaved in the world. Ransomed refers to articles or persons purchased in a transaction. Jesus described this transaction in Matthew 13:44, when He said, "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." The world was ransomed when Jesus died on the cross, and as the church—the body of Christ—we must lay claim on Christ's purchase.
By intercession and through the preaching of the Gospel, we facilitate their joyful return [or repentance]. Hallelujah! Saints, we have claim tickets on these people who are currently outside the Body of Christ. And I hear echoes in the spirit to gather them in from the four ends of the earth. When you see them on television, stretch your hands and pray for them claiming them for Jesus Christ who has already paid the full price for their salvation. When you come in contact with people for the first time, claim them for Jesus Christ and if you can get their names, get their names and take their names back to your prayer closet. Whenever you are afforded the opportunity to witness to them directly, do it joyfully. Let them know that Jesus has paid for their salvation, victory, and peace.
Just as bill collectors have a duty to collect payment for their clients, we have the duty to bring in "the ransomed" for the Lord. So, who in your sphere of influence is due for collection? I believe that God has positioned you strategically in places this season to collect the ransomed. Watch them "come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away" (Isaiah 35:10). Hallelujah!
So gear up and bring many to the fulfillment of Scriptures.
God bless you.
Faith-Filled Confession
I am a laborer in the Lord's harvest. As I pray and preach with the power of the Holy Ghost, I bring many into Zion. In Jesus' name. Amen
