"Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus" ( Hebrews 3:11).
A quota of priesthood is required for any experience to manifest on earth. This applies to inventions, the establishment of churches, revivals, the formation of nation-states, and even your salvation. Priesthood is the foundational message with which the Bible opens, emphasizing that everything created came into existence through the Word of God. Just beneath the spoken Word in Genesis 1, which brought forth the world as we know it, lies a priesthood.
The Bible declares that "The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters" (Genesis 1:2). It was only after this process of priesthood was complete that God began to speak, not before. In this "instant noodle" generation, this is the truth that is often not communicated. The Bible says, "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months" (James 5:17). The prophet understood that before pronouncements could be made, that held up on earth and in heaven, the required quota of priesthood had to be met. "And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word" (1 Kings 17:1).
Are there things that you want to see in your life, community, and ministry that now seem impossible? If you meet the quota of priesthood required, nothing shall be impossible unto you. The quota is a period of incubation through prayer and meditation. We know by revelation how Elijah was able to shut and reopen the heavens over an entire nation from what he did in 1 Kings 18:41-44. The Bible says, "Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain." So Ahab went up to eat and drink. But Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he bent down to the earth and put his face between his knees. and said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again." Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!" So he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you."
The moment Elijah had met the quota of priesthood necessary for the heavens to reopen, the heavens gave a sign. Hear me; there will be a "knowing" in your heart once you have met the quota for that person, community, family, or city to be won to Christ. The era of guessing or speaking out of turn without the backing of a priesthood is done.
As we begin to see by revelation the visitation of the Holy Spirit as He enables an unprecedented level of sacrificial giving, supplication, and intercession, ours is to yield to Him because quotas of priesthood guarantee diverse kinds of miracles will be met. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I am sensitive to the Holy Spirit to know how to meet priesthood quotas that precipitate miracles and quantum results. Anything is possible with me as long as the required priesthood for it is met. I am a spiritual champion, and this is my day! Hallelujah!
