THE PRAYER OF FAITH 1

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”(Mark 11:24) 

What things are you asking the Lord for? The Bible says, believe that you receive them and you shall possess them. This is a three step process that many believers try out but not according to the Word of God. Many err at the very beginning of the process which are the things they are asking God for. They ask based on their fleshly lusts and abort this prayer process that many have come to know as the prayer of faith. 

The things you ask must first come from God. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.” In essence, the things that you ought to pray for are the things that God has put in your heart. How does He put the things you ought to ask for in your heart? He puts it through fellowship with His Word and His Spirit. John 15:7 AMP says, “If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.” 

In 1 Corinthians 2:12-13, the Bible says, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” The reason some Christians pray the prayer of faith and have zero results rests in where they are getting the things they desire. If you pray based on fleshly lusts, the prayer of faith process will malfunction. 

So, how do I know if the things I desire are from God or not? Simple, if your desire’s source is not from your time of fellowship with the Holy Spirit or the Word of God, your desire is of the flesh. 

Right now, where you are, do a soul search about the things you are desiring from the Lord and query the source. Are you asking for a baby to silence your detractors or are you asking because it is the prophetic will of God for you and you have come into fellowship with the Lord on this matter. Whatever, it is that you are desiring, spend some time to query the source of the desire. And for you who says,you have no current desires, this, by itself, is a huge problem. 

It means you aren’t delighting in the Lord, His Word and His Spirit enough for Him to explode His desires in your heart.

Faith-Filled Confession 

I delight myself in the Lord and so that He grants me the desires I ought to pray. My victory is effortless because by God I am more than a conqueror. Glory!

Pray that they fulfill their God given assignments, remain fervent and passionate about  their work and calling, richly supplied with all they require; focused, fearless, bold and inspired for ever increasing impact of the gospel. 

FAITH CONVENTION 

Declare that we have all things ready for this program and we are marvelously helped of  God. Declare that our brethren are inspired by the Spirit of God to give of themself in  ensuring that every of their invitees are present for the program.

Declare every opposition against faith convention ineffective; that through this program,  the kingdom of God expands exceedingly, and established in the hearts of men, that the name of our Lord be glorified
