THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

6/10/2026

"And David said, 'Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan's sake?'" — 2 Samuel 9:1

One of the most beautiful revelations in Scripture is that God is a covenant-keeping God. He never forgets His promises, and He never overlooks those connected to His covenant.

Years after Jonathan's death, David remembered the covenant they had made. Although Saul's household had fallen from power and prominence, David asked a remarkable question: "Is there anyone left?"He was searching for someone upon whom he could lavish kindness.

That search led him to Mephibosheth, a man who had been forgotten, hidden away in Lo-debar, and living with the limitations of his condition. He had no expectation that the king knew his name, much less that the king was looking for him.

Yet in one moment, everything changed.

The king called for him, restored his inheritance, and gave him a permanent seat at the royal table. What Mephibosheth could not accomplish for himself was accomplished through covenant favor.

Child of God, this story is a picture of God's grace toward us. There are seasons when it may seem as though you have been overlooked, forgotten, or left behind. You may feel hidden in your own "Lo-debar"—a place of limitation, disappointment, or delay.

But never forget this truth: God knows exactly where you are.

The same God who remembered Mephibosheth remembers you. His favor can locate you where others have forgotten you. His grace can bring you from obscurity into significance. His kindness can accomplish in a moment what years of striving could never produce.

Perhaps you have been praying for restoration, intervention, or a fresh opportunity. Be encouraged today. God is still in the business of showing kindness. He is still opening doors, restoring what was lost, and positioning His people for purpose.

Your past does not disqualify you. Your current circumstances do not define you. God's favor is greater than your limitations.

Guess what? YOU ARE FOUND. His grace has been poured on you. This is your moment. Your search is OVER. Your season of testimonies has come.  That restoration, intervention, or a fresh opportunity is yours NOW in Jesus name. Receive it and be bless!

Faith-Filled Confession

The favor of God surrounds me like a shield. I am remembered by God and positioned for His purpose. Doors of opportunity are opening before me, and every blessing assigned to my life will locate me. I walk in covenant favor, divine restoration, and supernatural increase. God's kindness is working on my behalf, and my testimony will bring glory to His name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
