THE MIRACLES OF JESUS ARE FOR TODAY

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God [with faith and humility] like a child will not enter it at all” (Luke 18:17 AMP).

Miracles, signs, and wonders are for today's world. They have not gone extinct like some would want for us to believe. Jesus is still opening blind eyes, raising the dead, unstopping deaf ears, and much more! He is still about healing and doing good. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” So, if He cleaned the lepers yesterday, you can be rest assured that He is still doing the same today. He may not be here in person but you are here as Christ to your world. You are here in His place, with the same unstoppable power of the Holy Ghost that was at work in Him. Hallelujah! Jesus said in John 14:12, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” In other words, you have been anointed to produce miracles, signs, and wonders with the same anointing and power that Jesus possessed ( Act 10:38).

So why aren’t we seeing miracles today like we saw with Jesus and the early apostles? The answer is simple. It’s because God's people have failed to exercise child-like faith. And this faith is not something that you need to pray for. It is a faith that every Christian has in their spirit. It's the faith that made it possible for you to receive salvation. Jesus said to His disciples after they asked Him why they couldn't cast out a demon, “...because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:29). In other words, it takes faith as small as a grain of mustard seed to walk in endless possibilities. Hallelujah! And you must know that at this point, Jesus was referring to folks that had not been saved. These folks did not have faith as an inherent part of their spirits. But today, you do. When you got born again, faith was embedded in your spirit. So, you do not lack faith! You do not lack the faith that is required to walk in miracles. In fact, you have more than enough faith to experience and display the miraculous power of God every day! 

However, you need to learn how to put it to work. Jesus said, “I can guarantee this truth: Whoever doesn’t receive God’s kingdom as a little child receives it will never enter it" (Mark 10:15). In other words, exercising this kind of faith is the holy grail to walking in miracles. You must accept the truth of God’s Word as a little child. Children don’t complicate things. If you tell a child that you are taking him/her to Disney land, they would believe it, and before you know it, they’d start telling their friends or asking for others to come along. Notice what the child does: The child believes and then celebrates even before it actually happens. To a child, you saying it is as real as the real deal. This is what it takes to walk in the supernatural, and the faith to do so is already in you. So when the Spirit of God speaks a word to you, don’t ask why, how, or when. Just TAKE IT! Take it and run with it. Let it dominate your being like a child that has received a promise. The child does not see why it can’t happen and that ought to be your attitude.

Saint, the supernatural life is yours to live. You already have it.  So, put away religious thoughts that are contrary to the divine life. Embrace who Jesus says you are. Refuse to consult with your feelings. Be bold and speak the Word only. For this is your set time for miracles. See that promotion, healing, and increase with your spirit and walk in the light of it. Praise God!

Remember that miracles, signs and wonders are for today and that you are here to demonstrate them to your world.

Faith-Filled Confession: 

I am an envoy of the supernatural; a carrier of God's divine essence. Where ever I go, God goes. I represent the move of God in the earth. Therefore, I will not be quiet. I will exercise my authority and dominion in the name of Jesus and so, I decree supernatural alignment with heaven's agenda in my affairs and in my community. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer Point For Easter Weekend Program Both in the USA and Nigeria 

ACTS 6:7 (KJV) - And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. 

1. Declare that the ministration of the Spirit will have a great impact on everyone in attendance and our message will continue to have free course and spread unhindered. 

2. Pray for the outpouring of God’s power in this meeting and a tangle presence of God’s Spirit like never witnessed before, that there would be a definite transformation in the lives of everyone to do greater and mightier works for the kingdom and that the same atmosphere will be replicated in all our services and meetings after this program (Isaiah 32:15, 2 Corinthians 3:18).

3. Pray for maximum participation of all our brethren. Declare that through this program, we will be inundated with the gospel and fill the city of Peterborough with this gospel (Genesis 28:14).

Declare that this meeting will reposition us to become an undeniable voice in this city and that everywhere we go, we will become God’s voice to the people and experience tremendous supernatural numerical increase (Acts 2:47).

4. Pray for the supply of God’s Spirit on every serve team member (praise team, guest services, Superkids, Xgrace, media etc.) that being full of the Spirit, they carry out their functions with joy and excellence. Pray that by virtue of the work of our serve team, everyone coming for the meeting will be inspired to receive from God (Philippians 1:19).
