THE MIRACLE MAN

03/18/2023

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

TL Osborn’s shared a story of how he went on a mission trip to India for 5 years without the miraculous and could not win a single soul. Frustrated, he came back to the United States and then He encountered the God of miracles. In other words, he got into position with God by ministering to the heart of God until the anointing erupted in his soul. After this, he returned to India and that which he was unable to do 5 years, he did in one meeting; with thousands of souls won for Christ.

Saints, the miraculous is not an option. Living without notable signs of victory as a watchman is dangerous. You cannot accept such a life that does not depict the glory of the Word. I dare say that it is unrighteous to live without the manifestation of the glory of the Word. You may have lived that way for a long time without ever knowing that such a lifestyle contradicted the gospel of Christ. Acts 17:30 says, “Though God has overlooked those times of ignorance, He now commands everyone everywhere to repent.” In other words, He is calling each of His children to wake up to the manifestation of miracles. The Spirit of God is saying, “Refuse to live the ordinary life. Refuse to conform to the patterns of this world. Don’t accept defeat and misery as part of life for the life in you is not susceptible to failure and darkness. You are a divine creation; superior to this world and darkness.” Hallelujah! You are a watchman with power and authority.

Now that you know what is expected of you as a child of God, you must cultivate or encourage the miraculous in your life. In 2 Kings 3:15, we learn of how Elisha the man of God encouraged the miraculous. He said, “Now bring me someone who can play the harp." While the harp was being played, the power of the Lord came upon Elisha.” In another instance, “ While they worshiped the Lord and fasted,  the Holy Spirit said, ‘Separate now for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them’” (Acts 13:2). In both instances, the miraculous was triggered and then, the Holy Spirit spoke. In the first instance, Elisha knew that playing the harp would stir up the anointing, and so he asked for the harp to be played. This tells us something – anointed music can stir-up the anointing for the miraculous. If you would learn to saturate your mind and your surroundings with faith-filled music, miracles would not cease with you. As a child of God, you must be an addicted worshipper of Jesus if you would ever manifest the miraculous.

Faith Filled Confession:

I testify of God's grace and power working in my life this year. I testify that the Lord has been my light, my salvation, and my fortress. He has protected me from all danger. He has healed me, blessed me, and made me victorious on every count. I testify that I am the beauty of God's grace to my world. I testify that notable miracles and victories characterize my everyday experience. I see nothing but God at work in me. Hallelujah!
