THE LIFE IN CHRIST: THE LORD FROM HEAVEN

12/7/2024

"The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven." (1 Corinthians 15:47)

The Christian is the Lord from heaven. He is of the second and last Adam and by virtue of this nature, is a visitor to the earth with heaven's agenda for every situation and circumstance. But why then doesn't the born-again person exact his or her lordship on the earth. Galatians 4:1-2 says, "Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father."

The believer who is not yet exercising authority of leukaemia, deafness or depression is still a child or an apprentice, in training until a time appointed by the father. How you can tell a child from a bonafide matured son of God is first in their word. Paul said, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things" (1 Corinthians 13:11). Notice that a child speaks before he understands before he thinks. A child cannot enter into his or her lordship until there is perfection in speech. James 3:2 says, "For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body."

This is why until you recognize that there is a curriculum you must complete that is specific to you and curated by God, you will study the Bible haphazardly; you would listen to people you have no business listening to and your spiritual growth will have no consistency. One of the ways to discern your specific curriculum is by paying attention to the scriptures that your pastor is sharing. Understand that there is an endpoint that God the Father has in mind for you. The Bible says, this endpoint is reached when "...we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:13). This endpoint is the chief reason why God placed His servant in your service.

You are the lord from heaven but if you remain a child by ignoring the resources your Father has made available, woe will be the outcome. Ecclesiastes 10:16 says,  "Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, And your princes feast in the morning!" Things that should not happen will happen if you do not rise to your place as the lord from heaven. Sicknesses will kill people. Some will be lost forever. And so much chaos will take place.

This is why you cannot remain a child. Someone has been asking God to intervene in their city. Another has been asking God to deliver them from a troublesome situation . God says, you are His unrealized answer in both scenarios. The desired outcomes in both situations are in the mouth of a lord from heaven. You are that lord from heaven and as you come into this understanding today, speak in tongues until a word from heaven comes forth from you in prophecy.

Have a great day.

Faith-Filled Confession

I live the God-life. I think, talk and act in conformity to the life of God in me, knowing that as the Father has life in Himself, so do I. Hallelujah !
