THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

08/25/2023

"But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me." (John 15:26)

There is a special emphasis on the word, "Helper" today because that is who the Holy Spirit is to you. He is your "Helper." The issue, however, is that many live haplessly because they never take advantage of the Holy Spirit.

One way that many believers fail to take advantage of the ministry of the Holy Spirit is in His ability to help them demystify things. In Isaiah 11:3, we find that one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit is to make you "of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD" so that you don't judge things based on optics or make rash decisions based on what you hear. Yet, many live diametrically opposite lives from what they could have lived if only they would take advantage of the Holy Spirit.

Saints, 99.9% of life on earth is shrouded in mysteries. There are more spirits operating on Earth than there are human beings. Never underestimate the Holy Spirit's ability to help you understand a dream, vision, situation, or person. The moment you require understanding of anything, speak in other tongues. John 16:13 says, "...when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come." His job is to quicken your mind to grasp that dream or problem so that you can take the appropriate action to profit or mitigate loss. But you have got to turn to the Holy Ghost at such times of uncertainty.

It grieves the Holy Spirit when we don't engage Him to obtain the help and clarity we need. If you find yourself sleepy when you should be praying, ask for His help. If you had a dream or vision that made you feel distraught, ask Him for the meaning and how to respond. If you are stuck at a dead-end job or career and unsure what to do, ask the Holy Spirit.

He is tired of being a resource person who never gets consulted as the occasion demands. Don't be that person who speaks in tongues haphazardly about every situation. NO! Be targeted. When you encounter a difficulty, particularly as it relates to things you don't know or understand, engage the Holy Spirit about it in your understanding, and as you speak in tongues, the answers you require will float up into your conscious mind.

Have a blissful day!

Faith-Filled Confession

I am grateful for the gift of the Holy Spirit to me. I take advantage of His ministry to demystify secrets and uncertainties by speaking in tongues about these matters so that I always know what to do in every situation. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer Points

Declare that the praise of God is on your lips. Thank Him for protection, provision, and for pushing you forward and advancing your destiny.

Pray that every member of your family will take all divine opportunities to advance and fulfill destiny.

Declare that every opposition against your family is nullified and that through their lives, the kingdom of God expands exceedingly and is established in the hearts of men and that the name of our Blessed Lord is glorified. Amen.
