THE GREAT APOSTASY

"Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God." (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

The Bible is very instructive about a day that will come in the life of the Church. However that day will not come unless the rebellion or great apostasy occurs.  About this day, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 says, "Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come."

In other words, the day of Christ will be preceded by a shaking  that will boggle the mind. This shaking will come, the Apostle writes, "...by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come" (2 Thessalonians 2:2). This is why you must pay attention to everything. Let no dream, vision, instructions or matter that grabs your attention, just pass without inquiring from the Lord as to its meaning. 

Jesus' second coming is upon us and it will be characterized by strange things in the news over the next four months. However, He says to you, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me" (John 14:1). For in this season, there will be a demarcation between those that heed the word and those who do not. This is why you can't afford to ask the Lord about things before you make decisions. Make no assumptions in this season. 

In many instances, God will be initiating certain things that didn't seem like a possibility or His intention. Always ask Him to show you and lead you in these situations,  for many shall misread certain things by not  asking the Lord what they ought to ask. 

One thing about  a shaking is that the one who hears the word and does it will be unshaken while the one who hears the word and ignores it will suffer losses. So, let the Word of God and the Spirit of God inform how you approach or look at everything, including the seemingly insignificant things. 

As many turn their backs on the Word of God and godliness, let your roots drive you deep into God for their rebellion is only a sign that our bodily redemption draws ever so near.

FOR MINISTERS IN YOUR CITY

Pray that they fulfill their God given assignments, remain fervent and passionate about their work and calling, richly supplied with all they require; focused, fearless, bold and inspired for ever increasing impact of the gospel. 

FAITH CONVENTION 

Declare that we have all things ready for this program and we are marvelously helped of God. Declare that our brethren are inspired by the Spirit of God to give of themself in ensuring that every of their invitees are present for the program.

Declare every opposition against faith convention ineffective; that through this program,  the kingdom of God expands exceedingly, and established in the hearts of men, that the name of our Lord be glorified
