THE GRACE AND SPIRIT OF SUPPLICATION

08/15/2023

"Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart..." (Luke 18:1)

The design of your recreated human spirit is so unique because ordinarily, the human spirit is designed to pray. Jesus said in a parable, "...men always ought to pray and not lose heart..." (Luke 18:1). Every time the Master wanted to say something important, He said it in a parable. And in today's theme scripture, we are confronted with imagery that you were designed to pray. Just as fishes were designed to swim and they almost always swim; eagles were designed to fly and they almost always fly, you were designed to turbo through the spirit in prayer.

Yet, many still find it difficult to spend quality time in their natural habitat, and the chief beneficiary of this difficulty that many Christians experience is the enemy. Hear me, the Spirit says to you, "My child, you were designed to be unstoppable so take flight for this is your Year of Wonder. Only live in the habitat in which I put you and live victorious over shame, the state of being morose and defeat."

Jesus said, "...men always ought to pray and not lose heart..." (Luke 18:1). When you aren't cruising in the spirit through prayer, you are exasperated and many things that shouldn't happen, happen when you are exasperated. The posture that favors the enemy in your life is the posture of exasperation. Armed with this information, I trust you'd make up your mind never to allow a waking hour to pass without speaking in tongues.

There is more for you today. Over the next few days, you would encounter the Spirit of supplication just as it says in Zechariah 12:10; "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn." You will feel a strange summons and latitude to pray and when you do, please find somewhere private to pray.

There are issues that the Lord wants to use you to resolve and some of these issues relate to things you don't even have an inclination about. Some may be as murky as divorces, the death of an entire family, someone poisoning the food in the cafeteria of the school your kids attend, or even the assassination of the president that will occur in another six months that have been orchestrated by the spells of warlocks and sorcerers. Others may be God-opportunities that the enemy wants you to miss. So pay attention.

Let the Spirit of Supplication overwhelm you these next few days because we are in the middle of a visitation of the Lord and He must accomplish all that He would through you in prayer.

Be blessed.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am positioned by the Spirit of Supplication to pray in a way I have never prayed before. I access the new door that the Lord has made available to me to pray and win victories for Him in and around my spiritual jurisdiction. I am the vessel of God to bring His kingdom to bear in my neighborhood in the name of Jesus. Amen

Prayer Point

Pray against all forms of death and destruction. Especially the deaths of infants and adolescents

Pray for our brethren, that more than ever they will stay focused on Christ and the things of the kingdom, and they would not be distracted by the transient pleasures of this world.

Declare that our brethren are established in Christ, deeply rooted, and founded in Him. They remain steadfast, unmoveable, doing the work of the Lord with joy.

Colossians 4:12, "Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."

1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
