THE GOD OF WONDER

"I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name LORD I was not known to them." (Exodus 6:3)

It is very important to notice how God reveals Himself to you because how He reveals Himself is something you can miss and if you miss the revelation of God to you for a particular season, that season is already over before it even starts, so pay attention with your spirit today. 

When spirits require or want to aid human agency, attention is the price that must be paid. In other words, without your absolute attention to the things on the spirit, you will remain in the same place as you were last year. Let me illustrate this by taking you to Genesis 18:1-3 which says, "Then the LORD appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant.

Questions: who told Abraham that the Lord was one of the three men? And was it possible that God could have passed His tent? First, Abraham received a revelation of God for He could only have known one of the three men to be God by divine revelation. Second, God could have passed his tent if he didn't respond by faith and for many, decisions that they could have been a part of, occur without their input because they were tone-deaf to divine revelation. If you read the rest of the passage, you would discover that God was actually coming to Abraham so that he could intercede for Sodom and Gomorrah. 

In the same manner, the Lord appeared to us as a ministry, pronouncing 2023 to be the YEAR OF WONDER. What did you think it meant? It means God has revealed Himself to us as the GOD OF WONDER. Hallelujah! 

Understand that a time period, particularly a year, turns out exactly how God ordains it. The Psalmist describes this phenomenon of God and the year in this manner: "You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance" (Psalm 65:11). 

In our case, on a personal and corporate note, the Lord has earmarked 2023 for wonder. Psalm 71:7 testifies of you, " I have become as a wonder to many, But You are my strong refuge." People are going to marvel at the GOD of Wonder in you. Glory!

This is why prophetically, we were instructed to focus on the Giver of wonder and not the wonder. What accompanies wonder is praise and this is why you must acquaint yourself now with the God of Wonder so that every time someone says, "Wow" at your testimony, at your new house, at the expansion of your business or at your rise to prominence, instead of gobbling the praise, you are smart to point them to the WONDER MAKER. 

You won't be able to point them to the WONDER MAKER if you haven't first become acquainted with the revelation of Himself as the GOD of Wonder. Be smart and copy Jesus. In John 14:10, He says, "Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority, but the Father who dwells in Me does the works."

I implore you today, to meditate on Colossians 1:27, 1 John 4:4 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Job 22:21 says, "Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you."

Faith-Filled Confession

The God of Wonder lives in me. I recognize Him as the God who makes me a wonder and prioritize His instructions. By so doing, people witness the mind-boggling results that He inspires even as I give Him the glory that is due to Him. I am a wonder to many and you O Lord are my strong refuge. Hallelujah!!!

We shall be praying that these materials will cause miraculous healing to take place in people's bodies and pockets as well. Acts 19:12
