THE FORMER TREATISE

09/22/2023

"The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach" (Luke 1:1).

When God has you join a church, no matter how He achieves it, acquaint yourself with the vision that God has given to the Church of which you are now a part. God does not give the same vision to every local assembly because He has different assignments within the Great Commission to evangelize the world. For us, as a ministry our vision is locked into the following scriptures; Acts 20:32 and Acts 26:16-19. So acquaint yourself with these scriptures.

Next, be careful to go back through the messages preached and testimonies shared in the past, even before the time of your joining. 'Why?' You might ask. Those messages and testimonies were for you, too, and can arm you with some of the spiritual resources that may be needed for the season in which you are at this time.

The Lord knew you would be part of this Church and carefully curated certain messages and testimonies for your growth and development. This is why you should pay remarkable attention to past airings of our Lunch Hour with Pastor E.'s ministry. And Grace Daily Devotionals. And even when you participate with some of these ministries in real-time, it is good exercise to revisit them again and again.

The emphasis in today's devotional centers on going over things in our doctrines that have been captured in video, audio, and print formats that you might have missed or not become grounded in, either because you just joined us or you were not available at the time of the ministrations. Many of the answers that you may now be seeking may have already been preached, which is why you are enjoined to go through our various archives on our YouTube channel and website to get as much of the former accounts that have been made as you can.

Lastly, find your place at Grace House Church. The information that you get from understanding the vision of our Church and having a general knowledge of our teachings, past and present, is actionable to catapult you into finding your place in the ministry. See, there are ministries that ought to have started at corrections facilities, community centers, homes, and schools as a result of deepened interactions with the vision and teachings of our Church. The Lord wants to touch these people through you. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."

Have a beautiful day!

Faith-Filled Confession

I hunger and thirst to know the things of God that I ought to have known. I declare that I am overcome by a godly curiosity to know the things that are most surely believed among us as a body of believers in Christ's Church. And I am helped in Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer points

Pray and declare that Global Day of Praise shall be a day of encounter, healing, salvation, and demonstration of the Spirit.

Pray that our ministry will be received by those we are sent to. Romans 15:30-31

Continue to pray that God's people will live revived, broken, and awaken to God's will, grace, instruction, and correction in righteousness.

Continue to pray that God's people will live undistracted by the pleasures of this world. Also, pray that none of us will yield to the demand of the flesh and the devil.
