THE ENEMY CANNOT BUILD

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" — Psalm 133:1

Whenever the enemy wants to weaken a family, a marriage, a church, or a community, he often begins by creating division among the people within it. He knows that if he can get us fighting one another, we will lose sight of the real purpose God has given us.

Jesus said, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand." — Matthew 12:25.

Unity is not the absence of differences. It is the decision to value God's purpose above personal preferences. We may not always agree on everything, but we can choose to walk in love, honor one another, forgive quickly, and protect the unity God has given us.

The Bible says, "Where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." — James 3:16.

Notice the progression: strife produces confusion, and confusion creates an environment where the enemy can work. But where there is love, humility, forgiveness, and unity, the enemy loses the atmosphere he needs to operate.

Look at what happened in the early Church. "They were all with one accord in one place" (Acts 2:1), and suddenly the Holy Spirit was poured out. Their unity created an atmosphere for the manifestation of God's power.

Sometimes being spiritual means knowing when to remain silent, when to forgive, when to apologize, and when to choose peace instead of proving that you are right.

Let’s be wise. Protect your relationships. Protect your family. Protect the unity of your church.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am an instrument of unity, peace, and reconciliation. I refuse to participate in gossip, strife, offense, jealousy, or division. I walk in love and humility, and I choose to protect the relationships and assignments God has entrusted to me. The peace of Christ rules in my heart, and God's wisdom guides my words and actions. My family, relationships, and church are strengthened by unity. The enemy has no room to build because I choose love, forgiveness, and peace. Where unity prevails, God's blessing flows.
