THE ANOINTING TO KNOW

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1 John 2:27, NKJV)
As believers, we’ve received countless blessings from the Lord, but often, we’re unaware of what’s already ours. 1 Corinthians 2:12 reminds us, "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God" (NKJV). Notice the past tense in this verse—these gifts have already been granted to us. Among them is the abiding anointing, which the Bible tells us will teach us about anything and anyone.
Scripture doesn’t tell us to pray, fast, or beg for this anointing. It’s already yours. To activate what you already possess in Christ, you simply need to confess it. Romans 10:10 says, "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (NKJV). This means every provision God has given you in Christ is just a confession away.
So, how do you use the anointing that teaches you all things? Simply confess it in relation to whatever situation you’re facing, and that anointing will begin to communicate within you. For example, you might say, "Father, I thank You for the anointing I received when I became Your child. This anointing is guiding me right now regarding [specific situation] in Jesus' name." Then, listen with your heart for an immediate response.
Knowing the truth about anything on this earth is your birthright, and that anointing already dwells within you. That’s why you should never confess confusion or ignorance. Instead, confess the anointing you’ve already received, and the information you need will come to you.
As a child of God, you have access to the knowledge that can help you dominate this world. Your role is to activate this power and use it to influence others for Jesus Christ.
Have a blessed day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I have an unction from the Holy One. Therefore, I know all things I need to know as I carry out my ministry as a servant of Jesus Christ. I provide answers to many, knowing that the anointing of the One who knows all things is at work in me. Hallelujah!
Prayer Direction
1. Pray against every claim of the spirit of rebellion on our children, declaring that it will be futile. Affirm that our children belong to the Lord.
- Psalm 127:3: "Children are indeed a heritage from the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is His reward."
2. Pray that our children bring honor and joy to their parents throughout this school year. Pray against any attempts by the enemy to use our children to hinder the grace of God in our lives.
- Proverbs 15:20: "Sensible children bring joy to their father; foolish children despise their mother."
