“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God...” — Isaiah 41:10
It is wonderful to be needed, loved, and respected by others. It feels good to be honored, appreciated, and recognized for your efforts. But the truth is, none of these things are guaranteed. So why stake your peace, joy, and confidence on something so uncertain?
The Bible says, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is” (Jeremiah 17:7). In other words, even if no one notices you, applauds you, or acknowledges your efforts, you are still blessed because your confidence is in God and not in people.
Listen carefully: the greatest advantage you have in this world is not wealth, influence, education, talent, or connections—it is the presence of God. When God is with you, you already possess everything you need to fulfill His purpose for your life.
Yesterday we sang, "You never leave, You said You won't forsake me. You walk beside me, and that is all that matters."Those are not just beautiful lyrics—they are a profound spiritual reality. If God is with you, then you have everything that truly matters.
Too often, we become consumed by what we lack or by who has walked away from us. We wait for favorable conditions, influential people, or greater resources before stepping out in faith. Yet throughout Scripture, God's people prevailed not because they had the best circumstances, but because God was with them. And I believe that will be your testimony this week.
When Joseph was sold into slavery, the repeated testimony of Scripture was, "The LORD was with Joseph." That one truth turned a slave into the ruler of Egypt. When Moses felt inadequate, God did not promise him greater ability; He simply said, "Certainly I will be with you." When Joshua stood before the impossible task of leading Israel, God encouraged him with these words: "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you."
My beloved, God's presence changes everything. It gives courage where there is fear, wisdom where there is uncertainty, strength where there is weakness, and peace in the middle of every storm. His presence is the difference-maker.
So stop measuring your future by your resources or your limitations. Measure it by God's promise to be with you. If He is with you, no obstacle is too great, no assignment is too difficult, and no opposition can ultimately prevail.
Perhaps some people have walked away from you. Perhaps opportunities you hoped for slipped through your fingers. Perhaps you feel overlooked or forgotten. It's okay. God has not left you. He is still with you. He still walks beside you. He still goes before you. And because you have His presence, you have more than enough.
So lift your head. Cheer up. Your greatest advantage has never been people—it has always been the God who promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Shout Glory!
Faith-Filled Confession
The Lord is with me; therefore, I will not fear. His presence is my confidence, my wisdom, and my strength. I refuse to be intimidated by circumstances because the Greater One lives in me. God goes before me, walks beside me, and strengthens me from within. I boldly fulfill my assignment, knowing that His presence guarantees my victory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
