"Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials." (James 1:2 Amplified)
What do you do when a battle shows up that you were not expecting to fight? Scriptures says in James 1:2 “count it all joy”. In other words, don’t try to wish it on someone else or try to run away from it. Just shout GLORY. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Someone may say, “pastor you don’t know what I am dealing with” but God that knows everything says “shout glory!”. Listen, I know it doesn’t make sense to rejoice when it feels like Hell has broken loose. But the God that sees the end from the beginning says “count it all joy”. And if I were you, I will throw a party for me. Praise God!
So, when the money seems short and unable to accomplish what you need to accomplish, shout, "Glory!". When the promotion you were expecting hasn't come yet and others were promoted, be festive. Rejoice with those who are rejoicing and recognize that adversity, irrespective of the form in which they manifest, in form of delays, disappointment or difficulties, is the sign of your victory. Psalm 2:1-4 says “Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.” The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.” In others words, refuse to entertain any fearful and spiteful thoughts. Instead laugh, because that’s what God will do. Hallelujah!
Saint, embrace adversity with celebration. Understand that you are not surmountable by any force, situation or circumstance. Believe this, you are a victor irrespective of the prevailing situation. The Bible says, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57). This means that ever before that trouble came, you were already declared by God almighty as more than a conqueror.
What i am telling you today, get ahead of the storm with joy. Put the devil on the defense. Better still, put that devil on the run. Romans 8:28 says “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
So, I say to you today, CHEER UP. Because, out of this situation will come forth a thunderous testimony.
God bless you
Faith-Filled Confession
My testimony at the end of every trial is that I win and every seeming disadvantage fizzles away because they have no foundation. I testify that I win, every day, all day. Glory!!!
