TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TESTIMONIES SEASON

"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being," (Ephesians 3:16 NIV)

There is an emphasis of the Spirit on prayer, to which, if you give attention, the remarkable will not only be accomplished in your life but in the life of people connected to you by blood, marriage, fellowship and divine order.

When Jesus said, "out your belly shall flow rivers of water" ( in John 7:38), one of the things He was referring to apart from prayer, was testimonies. Lots of testimonies such that every one grass in the field [your spiritual jurisdiction] shall be touched. Zechariah 10:1 NIV says, "Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone." Notice, He said, "ask" meaning "pray" and then, He will send thunderstorms.

The thunderstorms are the thunderous testimonies that the LORD has given us to garner the attention of many who share an affinity with us in one way or the other. Chronic alcoholism, previously unbreakable addictions, perennial joblessness, lack and barrenness have been dismantled by the power of the Holy Ghost this year, and it is time to sing and shout aloud for the LORD inhabits the praises of His people (according to Psalm 22:3).

The songwriter charges you to "count your blessing and it will surprise you what the LORD has done." Where were you at the start of the year and where are you now? Recognize that nations of people need to hear how Baal-Perazim burst you out; how Dagon was utterly decapitated and how worldliness was subdued, never to rise again.

This is the day of the Song of Ascents "...When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, And we are glad." (Psalm 126:1-3)

Child of God, take advantage of this season, particularly during the testimony services, to pray about the things you think still need an intervention and be ready to send in your own thunderous testimonies to ireport@gracehousechurch.org
