SUPPLY YOUR FAITH WITH CORRESPONDING ACTION

“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes” (Isaiah 54:2).
Life is supernatural; so do not be deceived. Nothing great that you see today came into being by chance. Everything great is the result of men and women releasing their faith in God’s Word. Good outcomes are determined by actions and not mere wishing. You may have heard people say, “It was just an accident.” Truth be told, there is no such thing as being successful by accident or making progress by accident. Show me a man who became a success by accident and I will show one who will end up as an accidental failure.
Proverbs 22:19 says, “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.” This Scripture does not refer to the one who is merely hoping that things will get better. It also does not refer to the one who prays without corresponding action. Success is the result of acting upon the proven principles of the Word of God. Just as there are principles that must be acted upon to achieve success, there are also principles for failure. Proverbs 24:33-34 says, “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.” Simply put, neither success nor failure happens by accident. Mere hoping and wishing for success without obeying God’s Word is a recipe for perpetual suffering. Genesis 8:22 says, “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” In other words, the earth gives back whatever it receives—you reap what you sow. if you give nothing, nothing will be amplified back to you; but give life and watch your world turn around for good.
Today, I want to encourage you to do something about your dreams and hopes. Supply your hope with whatever is necessary to bring it to fruition. Don’t procrastinate what you can do today. Life will not wait for you so do not make excuses for your lack of productivity. Remember, you alone can put an end to whatever situation you may be faced with because whatever God will use to change your circumstance is already in you. So get up and do something today, heaven is waiting on you.
Faith Filled Confession:
I am God's handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for me to do. Therefore, I do today what I can do today. I walk in the counsel of the Word and the Spirit. I declare that my spirit is alive, my mind is alert, my body is revivified, and my strength is renewed, in Jesus' name, Amen.
