STREAMS OF TESTIMONIES

"A Song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” (Psalm 126:1-2)

Child of God, there is a moving in the spirit. God is stirring things up for your advancement and jubilation. Not only are you going to testify but I see many others testifying on your behalf. Your testimony or barrage of testimonies have become that which people want to be part of.

This is why it is important to share testimonies no matter how small you think they might be this season. You share your testimony because it is a two-pronged for doing the enemy great damage. First, testimonies have the capacity to grow organically and create a massive storm or tsunami of testimonies. We rarely realize it but the Samaritan who came back to give thanks after Jesus had healed him also came to testify for there can be no thanksgiving with testimonies. To him, Jesus said, "Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” (Luke 17:18-19). His testimony of healing led to his wholeness.

Secondly, testimonies also have the capacity to recreate themselves in the lives of their hearers. We find that after the woman with the issue of blood testified about touching the helm of Jesus' garment (refer to Mark 5:27-28), the Bible records, "Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well. (Mark 6:56)

This is why your attitude this month should be to rejoice with those rejoicing in acknowledgement of a miracle. The Psalmist captures the thunderous effect of testimonies for person to person, and from people group to people group. He says, "One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. I will meditate on the glorious splendour of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, And I will declare Your greatness. (Psalm 145:4-6).

This month, echo testimonies that you want to experience to as many people as you can. Let your mouth be a fountain of testimonies, not just of your own testimonies but of the testimonies of others. And watch out for the speed at which testimonies will also overtake you.
