“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”— Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
We hear the command “Fear not”throughout the Bible. I like to say there’s at least one “Fear not” for every day of the year—one for each moment of our lives. Why? Because fear is a crippler. When fear gains access to your heart, it hinders you from receiving anything from God.
Fear is a tool of the enemy. His strategy is simple: keep you paralyzed so you never fulfill your purpose in God. Over time, many have developed fears—some through personal experiences, others through what they’ve seen or heard. Some fear rejection, failure, death, pain, or even the opinions of others.
I’m not dismissing your feelings of fear, but I want to embolden you in who you are and Who is with you. Every time God says, “Fear not,” He immediately follows it with this assurance: “I am with you.” What a promise! Even in the face of death, God’s presence remains unshaken. His Word melts fear like wax before the fire.
Remember Jairus in the Bible? His daughter was sick, and he asked Jesus to come heal her. But before they arrived, messengers came saying, “Your daughter is dead.” In that moment, fear rushed in—but Jesus quickly interrupted it.
“Don’t yield to fear. All you need to do is to keep on believing.” (Mark 5:35–36 TPT)
Yielding to fear leads to unbelief, and unbelief shuts the door to receiving from God. That’s why you must confront fear immediately with the Word. You cannot afford to be silent and let fear take root in your mind or home.
Respond quickly—speak the Word! The Word of God is your weapon of warfare. Use it to uproot every lie of fear and establish faith instead.
Today, hear Jesus saying to you what He said to Jairus: “STOP THE FEAR!
Keep believing. I am with you.”
You are not alone.
Faith-Filled Confession
I refuse to yield to fear. The Lord is with me, strengthening and upholding me with His righteous right hand. I live in boldness, confidence, and peace, for I know that greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Fear has no place in me—in Jesus’ name, Amen.
