STAY AWAKE

"Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you." (Isaiah 52:1)

There are times when it is too risky to be asleep, spiritually speaking. Very often, if you are asleep during a time of visitation, the result will be a massive loss. Make no mistake about it, there are two types of visitations that believers experience. There are divine visitations, in which, the Lord brings special advantages to His elect. Jesus talked about the effect of the Jews missing the time of their visitation in Luke 19, meaning that it is possible for believers to also miss divine visitations. In Luke 19:43-44, Jesus says, "For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you.”

There are also demonic visitations, in which, wicked spirits visit God's elect. Again, Luke 4:13 says, "Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him [Jesus] until an opportune time." Notice, the Bible says the enemy departed until a more opportune time, meaning that they also schedules check-ins from time to time. If Satan scheduled visits with Jesus, there are demonic visitations scheduled for you. 

Irrespective of who is visiting you, if you aren't awake, a loss is certain. You may either lose the benefits of God during a divine visitation or lose something you already have via the theft of a wicked spirit during a demonic visitation. 

However, in today's theme scripture, the Prophet Isaiah tells us: "Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you" (Isaiah 52:1). 

The instruction here is to stay awake such that when the unclean see you in the realm of the spirit, they will simply advise themselves to avoid you. So, how do you put on strength? You put on strength by speaking in tongues copiously. Let the victory of God be birth from your spirit every time your pray in the spirit. That's what it means to put on beautiful garments. Hallelujah! This way, no uncircumcised or unclean thought, spirit or scheme would be able to survive in your orbit. 

The man or woman who is awake only experiences advantages and no disadvantages in the realm of the spirit. And since that realm controls the physical, no machination of the enemy will be executable in your spheres of jurisdiction. 

In this hour of divine visitation, stay wide awake as you yield to the Spirit of supplication that has tabernacled over us in this season and let the prayer bandwidth that the Lord has expanded be manifest in your prayer closet. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am wide awake in the spirit realm. I make the right decisions to burn brightly in my heart for the Lord such that unclean thoughts, traffic and manipulations of the enemy are repelled in the name of Jesus. Amen.
