SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY

03/06/2023

"If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth." (Colossians 3:1-2)

You cannot afford to miss God at this time because there is a fluidity of situations both in the spirit realm and on the earth. The atmosphere in the spirit is so charged with activity because, all of a sudden, the earth has become one giant altar, with the LORD and his enemies making claims on the destinies of multiplied millions across the world. You may not fully grasp the import of why you need to be spiritually engaged but the spirit realm on both sides of the divide, the LORD's and the enemy are in overdrive.

A spiritual understanding of these times from the Bible might be found in 2 Kings 3 in which what, in the physical realm, seemed like a battle between Israel, its allies, and Moab was also a battle, in the spiritual realm, between the LORD and Moloch.

However, here is the tricky part. The spiritual element of the battle entailed prophetic pronouncements and sacrifices. The three kings of Isreal, Judah and Edom courted the word of the LORD at the mouth of Elisha which in response, he said, "This is what the LORD says: ‘Make this valley full of trenches.’ For thus says the LORD: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ And this is a simple matter in the sight of the LORD; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand" (2 kings 3:16-18).

Moab as far as the divine agenda was concerned was a walkover. The three kings would crush them. In 2 Kings 3:20, the Bible continues, "Now it happened in the morning, when the grain offering was offered, that suddenly water came by way of Edom, and the land was filled with water." The grain offering comprised of a lamb and "one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering." (See Exodus 29:39-40). The three kings approached this peculiar event as if it was business as usual.

Whereas, their adversary, the King of Edom approached the siege differently . The Bible says in verse 27 that "...he took his eldest son who would have reigned in his place and offered him as a burnt offering upon the wall, and there was great indignation against Israel. So they departed from him and returned to their own land."

Notice that what should have been a walkover according to the prophetic utterance of Elisha was upstaged by the sacrifice of the King of Edom to his god, Moloch. And this is why we cannot be casual about God's agenda in this due season.

Saints, this is the time to be sensitive to the Spirit, to court the prophetic and have the most current Word that the LORD is speaking. This isn't the time for the logos (written word of God) but for the Rhema (concurrent word of God). This is why I charge you today, not just to be sensitive to Holy Spirit but to pray for prophets and prophetesses to assume their positions and restore divine order across the world.

God bless you

Faith-Filled Confession

I am sensitive to the Holy Spirit in this season of the Church.  I court the prophetic and I ask that many within the office of the Prophet will be triggered right now in America and across the world, to make pronouncements that give advantage to God's Elect. These ones, in the mould of the sons of Issachar, will mandate action sequences that will produce a global reawakening to the Lordship of Christ. Hallelujah!
