SEEING THE OPEN DOOR

“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name." (Revelations 3:8)

The only thing the Lord requires of you, right now,  is to see the open door He has set in front of you and nothing more. Don't bother about what Uncle Jimmy said about your career prospects; or what Aunt Maggi said about you not bringing home an eligible mate with whom to start a life together. Your focus should be on seeing the open door He has set before you because that is your path of stupendous advantage. 

One time in the Bible, Sarah asked her husband, Abraham to get rid of his illegitimate son, Ishmael because she sensed the strife that we now see today, erupting between Isaac biological seed and  Ishmael's descendants in the Middle East. The Bible says, "...God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad [Ishmael] or because of your bondwoman [Hagar]. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called. Yet I will also make a nation of the son of the bondwoman, because he is your seed” (Genesis 21:12-13). 

Now, here  is the clincher, so pay special attention. Genesis 21:14-15 says, "So Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water; and putting it on her shoulder, he gave it and the boy to Hagar, and sent her away. Then she departed and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba. And the water in the skin was used up, and she placed the boy under one of the shrubs." Understand this, Abraham was the richest men on earth at that time but he gave his son bread and water that were exhaustible.  

Maybe you've gotten so use to God meeting your need whenever you pray for something and since the Faith Convention, this old arrangement hasn't been working. This season is different. It is a weaning season; a season of expansions and promotions. And in this season, your spiritual sight is your greatest asset. 

The Bible says, Hagar, the lad's mother reached her wit's end. "Then she went and sat down across from him at a distance of about a bowshot; for she said to herself, “Let me not see the death of the boy”   So she sat opposite him, and lifted her voice and wept (Genesis 21:16)" Their situation in that wilderness had become untenable and hopeless. Maybe, you too have experienced an untenability and hopelessness since this month began and you are wondering: s this going to be the same old story? Not so.

The Bible says, "Then God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “What is wrong, Hagar? Do not be afraid, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he lies. Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation. Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink" (Genesis 21:17-19). 

Your voice of God's word  in prayer and meditation is directed connected to your spiritual sight. Hear me, what you are asking the Lord to go for you is already within your vicinity, why you may not be enjoying it is in the opening of your eyes. Jesus said, "...“Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way" (John 5:19).

An open door has been set before you and this month, the Holy Ghost is committed to helping you see what the Father has done. As you see yourself heal the sick, craft a new product or win a contract during times of prayer or meditation, go and do it in real life.  Let not the opinions of others count for anything. As long as you see it, it is yours. Don't second guess yourself and short-circuit the power of God, just do it. 

See the open door today in Jesus' name. Amen

Faith-Filled Confession

I see the open door that has been set in front of me and I take full advantage of it. This is my season of expansions and promotions by the Holy Ghost. And I am bold to do and make happen all that I see with the eyes of my spirit. Hallelujah!

Prayer Direction

2 These 3:2 “We may be delivered from perverse (improper, unrighteous) and wicked (actively malicious) men, for not everybody has faith and is held by it.”

Colossians 4:12 says, “Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”

• Pray that the brethren remain resolute in the Word and vigilant in pursuing all of God's will for their lives. And that they will be deliver from the Absalom of this world. 

-  Pray that every fiery dart, lie, trick and strategy of the adversary against our brethren is extinguished and rendered ineffective.

For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.) Proverbs 23:18

-  Pray and declare that a DAY OF BLISS will be a resounding success and make an indelible impact in the lives of all our brethren and invitees.

-  Pray that every strategy (Publicity & Invitation, follow up, Visitation , etc) implore towards the achievement of set goal for this program is yielding tremendous results.
