SEEING BY THE SPIRIT

10/23/2024

“For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.” (Psalm 75;6-7)

Part of the Lord’s instructions to us in this Month of Expansions and Promotions requires seeing by the Spirit. Revelation 3:8 says, “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”

The instruction “to see” implies seeing with prophetic eyes. It entails beholding the unseen from the Word of God while discountenancing the things that are apparent, no matter how contrary they may seem. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

You simply refuse to be distracted by the  outward circumstances around you telling you something other than what the Lord says, so that you can see what that Lord has set before you.  This is exactly what Hebrews 12:2 AMP says: [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].

This month, the Lord asked us to set our eyes on Him in the character of His Word from Psalm 75:6-7 and Revelations 3:8. This is why until the Month is over, you can’t stop meditating on and visualizing these scriptures because this is the means by which God’s word will come to pass in your life, and you will give God glory.

The Bible says, “He [Papa Abraham] did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:20).”

In the same manner, you cannot waver through unbelief. And just so you know, unbelief is the fruit of neglecting to meditate on the scriptures the Lord gave you this month.

Keep meditating. Keep it in your heart and mouth. This is your season of Expansions and Promotions. Hallelujah!
