SEE YOURSELF IN MAOZ

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18

Nehemiah 8:10 says, “…Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

The Hebrew word translated “strength” is maoz, which refers to a place of safety, a stronghold, or a place of strength and protection. In other words, the joy of the Lord places you in a position of advantage. Better still, you have been planted in strength, vitality, and victory. David said in Psalm 16:6, “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.”

Saint, God has allotted good things to you. Your inheritance in Christ is not failure, defeat, or despair. You have a goodly heritage!

So, make this your consciousness: all things are working together for your good. You may not feel or see it but you have a beautiful and victorious life in Christ.

In Psalm 23:1 (MSG), David declared, “God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing.”

Why could David speak with such confidence? He had a revelation of Jehovah. When he faced the lion, the bear, and later Goliath, David knew that he was not facing them alone. He had a revelation of the unlimited God who was with him.

David understood that when God is with you, failure is not your destiny.

This is why he could say in Psalm 37:25, “I was young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” Child of God, adopt this same mindset.

See yourself in maoz: a place of safety, a stronghold, or a place of strength and protection. That is the picture God has given you in Christ. He sees you in His strength.

Now say boldly:

“There is no room for failure or defeat in me. I see nothing but excellence and greatness in me. I am in health, and I prosper by the Holy Ghost!” Hallelujah!

Look into the mirror of God’s Word and sow the Word into your heart. Prophesy the Word to yourself. Speak it until it becomes your consciousness. Stir yourself up in the Holy Ghost with the Word.

Hallelujah!

So, don’t allow anything to weigh you down today.

Refuse to be sad, discouraged, or downcast. Raise your head high. Square your shoulders. Put the Word on your lips and speak forth the Word of God.

Your joy is not dependent on your circumstances. Your joy comes from the Lord, and His joy is your strength!

So, rejoice today. In Jesus name!

FAITH-FILLED CONFESSION

All things work together for my good. I refuse to fear or be anxious about anything. I know who I am in Christ. No matter what I see, feel, or hear, I am more than a conqueror. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I walk in victory, health, peace, excellence, and prosperity. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I live a beautiful and victorious life in Christ. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
