SAY, "YES SIR"

08/08/2024

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" (2 Timothy 2:1).

Grace is the ability to function and produce results that align with the nature of God. It is a supernatural influence in a person’s spirit that compels the material world to correspond with the spiritual realm. This power sets your outcomes apart from others. When 2 Timothy says, “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus," the Spirit of the Lord is encouraging us to take advantage of God’s grace. God's grace has been given to us, and now we must act on it. Use it to enhance the works of your hands. Praise God!

John 1:17 declares, “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” In other words, Jesus is God’s grace given to humanity. When you were saved, you received all the grace you would ever need to live and produce extraordinary results. Romans 5:17 says, “For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.” Notice the phrase “reign in life.” This means that God’s grace and righteousness make us kings, not mere subjects at the mercy of time and chance. Being born again makes us masters over devils and lords over every circumstance on earth.

When God tells you to do something, don’t respond like Mary did initially when she said, “How shall this be?” She asked this because she was still a child in spiritual matters. However, as she matured, she told the disciples in John 2:5, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” No matter how unusual His instruction may seem, just do it. I believe Mary is still speaking to us today, saying, "Just do it." Glory to God!

Today, you are going to hear the voice of God. To some, the Lord will say, "My son, forgive so-and-so," and your response should be, "Yes, sir." When He tells you to heal the sick, your response should be, "Yes, sir." When He tells you to give money to someone, your response should be, "Yes, sir." Whatever He tells you, don’t see it as impossible because the grace to do it is already inside you. Shout Amen!

Saying "Yes, sir" is how your spirit connects to the grace to accomplish it. Once your spirit connects to that grace, everything else will fall into place.

Be blessed today, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Faith-Filled Confession

God has not given me a timid spirit but a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. I am guided by His instructions, and my progress is undeniable and astonishing to human comprehension. In Jesus' name. Amen.
