REJOICE REGARDLESS

02/25/2024

"Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping--believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, "That's how many descendants you will have!" (Romans 4:18).

To the person reading this who's pondering, "Pastor, what do I do when I don't see the change I've prayed for?" I'd urge you: do not lose hope. If you've followed the Lord's instructions faithfully, then rejoice!

Changes don't always come in the shape or size that we expect. When you prayed, God heard your prayers and gave specific instructions. If you have followed His instructions faithfully, then you ought to trust Him, regardless of how things may appear. Every response from God carries supernatural significance; none are insignificant.

Romans 4:18 says of Abraham, "Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping--believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, "That's how many descendants you will have!" If Abraham could keep believing God until he saw his miracle, even when the natural factors of age were against him and his wife, what then is too hard for God to do? Abraham had every reason to give up, but he didn't. The Scripture tells us that "Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah's womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this, he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever He promises."

Therefore, never entertain the thought of giving up; it's simply not an option. Refrain from speaking negatively about your job, country, or relationships. Remember, God has brought you this far, and as Philippians 1:6 reassures us, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." While I may not fully comprehend the magnitude of your situation, I do know that nothing is too great for God to handle. In Him, there's always hope that tomorrow will be better than today.

So, rejoice!

God bless you!

Faith-filled Confession:

My faith is unwavering and in God alone. I believe God's Word in its entirety, and I know that He who has begun a good work in me will surely bring it to completion. Hallelujah!
