1 Samuel 30:8“So David inquired of the LORD, saying, ‘Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?’ And He answered him, ‘Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.’”
Genesis 14:16“He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions, together with the women and the other people.”
1 Kings 18:46“Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah [giving him supernatural strength]. He girded up his loins and outran Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [nearly twenty miles].”
Welcome to the uncommon month of May—the month of RECOVERY AND SPEED. I say uncommon for a reason: everything that will unfold this month will defy the ordinary. From politics to religion and everything in between, it’s one of those months where even the blind will perceive that change is in the air.
First, I urge you to pray for the leaders of your nation. As I write this devotional, I see in the spirit a vision of an attempted assassination of a world leader—an event that could trigger a major war. We must pray fervently against it. Amen.
Secondly, hear this: nothing is truly lost for a child of God. God’s dreams, visions, aspirations, and divine opportunities for your life are never truly gone. You may feel like you've lost momentum on a vision or that the passion to pursue a God-given dream—perhaps one spoken over your life by others—is fading. Maybe your marriage is at the courthouse steps of divorce. Perhaps you’re dealing with the painful symptoms of lost opportunities. But hear me: none of this proves that God has given up on His word concerning you.
Maybe you've convinced yourself that your inaction has cost you a miracle or a divine moment. Maybe you're at the brink of giving up because you believe you've messed up too badly or it’s too late to fulfill God’s dream for your life. You look around, and all you see is mistake after mistake, and all you hear is, “It’s over.
But Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” In other words, your natural circumstances may scream, “It’s done,” but God doesn’t see it that way. If He could use a man like Saul—a murderer—who became the Apostle Paul, there’s no telling what He’s ready to do with your life.
Romans 11:29 declares, “For God's gifts and His call can never be withdrawn.” That means God hasn’t given up on you—and He never will.
That being said, I hear the cry of destinies in the spirit echoing David’s words: “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And God’s response is clear: “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”
Child of God, whatever seemed lost or stolen—this month you will recover it all without fail. The emptiness and frustration that have weighed you down are leaving NOW. And not only that—you will experience supernatural speed in every area of your life. The hand of God will carry you where you never imagined possible.
Just like Elijah, the hand of the Lord is upon you. You will outrun everything that has tried to compete with God's purpose for your life. And when you look back, those things will be far behind you—lost in the distance.
1 Kings 18:46 (Amplified) says, “Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah [giving him supernatural strength]. He girded up his loins and outran Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [nearly twenty miles].” Did you catch that? Elijah outran Ahab’s chariot by nearly twenty miles! When you read the full chapter, you’ll see Ahab started long before Elijah.
Here’s what the Lord is saying: It doesn’t matter who left before you. You will arrive before them all. And it won’t even be close.
This is your month to gain divine speed—in your career, your ministry, your calling, and your purpose. May is about to usher you into a new dimension of endless sweetness and joyful celebration—in Jesus' name!
Expect great and momentous testimonies in your life and family. The Lord is pulling you ahead. Welcome to May—your month of RECOVERY AND SPEED.
Shout Glory!

Intercede for our residents of GHC across the ministry, that they remain unshakeable in the face of contrary condition.
Thank the Lord for your victory of demons and adverse situations today.
