"For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving." (1 Timothy 4:4)
There is a reason why God requires that you receive food with thanksgiving and it is this. Each time you bless God for your food, you deactivate every thing that has been used to corrupt it, in the process before it reaches you. In other words, you anoint your food through thanksgiving. For the record, asking God to bless the food for Christ sake is not what I am talking about. Either you speak in tongues over the food or simply say " I bless and receive this food with thanksgiving in Jesus name"
Now, there is a deliberate attempt by the enemy to desensitize believers into thinking that certain food and drink they take is harmful or injurious to their bodies and many have fallen for this device of the enemy. In Romans 14:14, Paul writing about food says, "I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean."
In essence, foods that you forbid for reasons related to demonic outcomes will have those outcomes whenever you eat them. For example, let's say you watched a YouTube video that asked you not to eat a particular type of food because it causes cancer or bloating, and you believed it, and stopped eating that food, you have empowered that food to do what you believe. And so, when your so-called "cheat day" comes and you eat that food, you would have weaponized that food against your body.
However, God says to you who know and believe the truth "..nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving." (1 Timothy 4:4). In other words, no matter the association that has been placed around the food in terms of branding, labels, "organic", "GMO" or whatever, except the Lord personally forbids you from eating it, the Bible says, receive that food with thanksgiving.
Romans 14:20-21 says, "Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense. It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak." In other words, if you believe that eating anything is wrong, then be diligent never to eat it. The other reason why you should not touch a certain food is if someone else would be offended in their faith by what you are eating.
God's position on your diet is very clear. "Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin" (Romans 14:22-23). So when you eat, do it with thanksgiving, knowing that God created your food and nothing is to be refused.
God bless you
Faith-Filled Confession
I am delivered from all forms of fears, restrictions, allergies and mental strongholds related to food. I eat by faith and therefore I receive my food always, with thanksgiving. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
