"Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation" (Habakkuk 3:18).
Difficult circumstances were never designed to bring you down. Jesus said in John 16:33 (AMP): "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world, you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration, but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]" In other words, every daunting and frustrating circumstance has been stripped of its ability to harm you. Even those that were fashioned to cause you harm, God has turned them around for your good. Now, they cannot prosper! Hallelujah!
2 Corinthians 4:17 says, "For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor, and an endless blessedness]!" So whatever bad news you hear is really good news in disguise. What others may call adversity is a miracle that is being unraveled. So, do not be worried or afraid. The Word of God in you will not fail. If God says count it all joy, count it all joy, with a hallelujah raised to His name!
Malachi 3:6 says, "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." Because God does not change, His word will not change. If He says that difficult times are no match for the glory of His Spirit in your soul, then raise your hallelujah! Learn from Papa God. Psalm 2:1-4 says that when the nations conspired, and the kings of the earth plotted against the Lord and His anointed, "The One enthroned in heaven [laughed]; the Lord [scoffed] at them." This is how God handles bad news. He laughs. And He does this each time we are faced with trouble. He laughs, not because He wants to see us unhappy and defeated, but He rejoices because our true grit is revealed in such moments, and the depth of His glory is unleashed. How else would those around you know that the Greater one lives on inside of you? Joshua 5:1 says, "Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted in fear, and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites."
Child God, come hell or high waters, raise a hallelujah! Amid satan's shenanigans, raise your hallelujah! When it seems like all hope is lost, raise a hallelujah! Even when it appears as though God has turned His back on you, raise your hallelujah! Do not give in to depression, discouragement, and fear because He that has called you is faithful, and He will complete it. The victory is already yours in Jesus' name. So, do not give up your fight of faith. Keep praising God! Keep your hallelujah raised!
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession:
Thanks be to God, who always leads me in perpetual victory in Christ, and through my life, makes manifest His manifold wisdom and power. To Him, be all glory forever! Amen.
Prayer Point for Today
Pray for open and effectual doors for expansion and increased influence of the gospel in our nation. We declare that the influence of our gospel and ministry continues to grow and dominates religion and all forms of evil. Colossians 4:3 "Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ…"
Pray for those whom Satan is stirring off the course of their calling in Christ through various temptations and trials. Pray that their faith fails not and that they be strengthened by the Spirit in their inner man, triumphing by the Word sown in their hearts, and that their faith prevails in all circumstances. Declare that they hold fast to their calling, living in and by the Word, irrespective of circumstances. Declare that they finish their course with joy, bringing glory to the Father in Jesus' name. Amen
