PUT OUT THE DARKNESS

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).
As a believer, you are not called to surrender to darkness or be overwhelmed by the challenges of life. God has equipped you with spiritual authority through His Word. The battles we face are spiritual, and they are won when we stand firmly on what God has spoken and boldly declare His truth.
Darkness cannot remain where light is present. The moment God’s Word is spoken in faith, light is released into every situation. Fear, confusion, sickness, oppression, and lack cannot stand against the power of divine truth. This is why your words matter. Faith-filled declarations aligned with Scripture become weapons that silence the enemy and shift circumstances.
However, victory is not found in empty repetition but in revelation. True authority flows from a heart that is submitted to God and filled with His Word. When you fellowship with God through prayer and Scripture, His truth becomes alive in you. Then, when you speak, your words carry power because they are backed by Heaven.
James 4:7 says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Submission to God’s Word is what empowers resistance against the enemy. As you align your thoughts, words, and actions with God’s truth, darkness loses its influence over your life.
Today, refuse to speak defeat or hopelessness. Speak God’s promises over your family, health, finances, and future. Declare peace where there is confusion, healing where there is pain, and victory where there has been struggle. Every time you declare the Word in faith, light shines, and darkness is driven out.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I walk in the light of God’s Word, and every form of darkness is driven out of my life. I declare victory, peace, healing, favor, and increase over my family and all that concerns me. The Word of God is alive in me, and through it, I overcome every challenge. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Hallelujah!
