PUT ON THE NEW IMAGE

"To put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness" (Ephesians 4:22-24).
Being born again is something to shout about because nothing about you is susceptible to defeat, sickness, lack, or any form of failure. You are the beauty of God revealed to the people of the earth. Just take time to study the Word for yourself; you will be amazed to see the light in which God presents you. He sees you as glorious, victorious, healthy, unique, resourceful, amazing, beautiful, blessed, invincible, exquisite, and the list goes on. The Scriptures present you in the complete image and glory of Christ--as inseparable from divinity.
The best way to explain this great mystery is by Jesus' words when He said: "...Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father!.." (John 14:9 ). Jesus wasn't talking about a mere representation of the Father, but something deeper. He was saying to Philip, "I am the "apokalupsis" of the divine essence" And in this light, He presents you; as the manifestation of divinity and an expression of the divine essence.
Just as Jesus was and still is a success, so are you! The Scripture puts it this way: "For whatever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that has overcometh the world, even our faith" (1 John 5:4). And Romans 8:37 says, "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." In other words, you have passed the point of hoping and praying to be victorious or successful. You were born that way because Christ's victory and success are now yours!
This is the image that Christ wants you to display. This image must replace any contrary image you may have had. Understand that there are two images in you: the image of your spirit and the image of the mind. The image that controls the outward circumstance is the image of your mind. Until you impose the image from your spirit to be the image of your mind, you will not experience the reality of the image of Christ's victory that is in your spirit. Hence, the Scriptures admonish us not to live according to the dictates of the senses but to live from our spirit according to the revealed Word of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:7).
For example, if you walk into any Federal building today, the image you'd find on the wall is that of the current president. It would be absurd to see the image of the past president. It is the same thing with you today. Now that you are born again, you need to take down the old image of defeat, hopelessness, sickness, lack, oppression, disappointment, and darkness from the wall of your mind. Their reign is long over. Jesus is now the Lord of your life. So, replace the old image with the image of Christ's abiding victory.
Praise God!
Faith-Filled Confession
I refuse any image of defeat, hopelessness, sickness, lack, oppression, disappointment, or darkness. My life is not susceptible to failure. I am the manifestation of God's beauty, and my life reflects all that I am in Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.
