PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS

05/22/2024

"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).

Living the life of prosperity that God ordained for you to live begins with a consciousness of prosperity. The Bible says in Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ”. Now, the Bible doesn’t say God is going to bless us. It says God has blessed us. And not with some blessing but with all blessing. The other thing to note is that a blessing is an empowerment to prosper and prevail in the earth realm.

Now someone might be saying, “Well, yes the Bible says, God has blessed me with all spiritual blessing…but this blessing is in heavenly places.” My question is would you rather God put your blessing in earthly places? If Jesus said not to keep your treasures on earth, “where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal” (according to Matthew 6:19), do you think God is going to store your treasure in earthly places? The answer is no.

Your role in the area of God-given prosperity is to have an awareness of the abundance that has been set aside for you in heavenly places and learn the process of conversion from its heavenly state to its earthly equivalent and vice versa.

How you do the conversion is by meditation. Meditation in this regard, is an acknowledgment of every good thing that is in you through Christ Jesus. Philemon 1:6 KJV translates perfectly when it says, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”

For practicality, as you meditate on today’s theme scripture which says, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8), you are becoming aware that in every endeavor, project or challenge, God’s ability in you is superabundant to make available the people, resource, and opportunities for your benefit, irrespective of the environment, circumstances or prevailing conditions.

The consciousness of prosperity is where your invincibility comes from. The Bible says you have been blessed with all spiritual blessing. Understand that the blessing of God is irrevocable and cannot be diminished by any outside force as long as the believer is in agreement with the Lord by verbal consent.

When a diviner came against Israel and tried to make the nation operate under a curse, he couldn’t, and in his testimony, he said, “Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.” (Numbers 23:20). Now according to Galatians 6:16, you are the ‘Israel of God’ and as long as you maintain a prosperity consciousness through the principle of verbal consent with the Lord, you are only entitled to enjoy peace and mercy.

Have a great day

Faith-Filled Confession

I celebrate my prosperity in Christ Jesus, knowing that His grace abounds towards me in all situations and at all times. I have the advantage, abundance, and strength to initiate and complete every project, requirement, and mission as the Lord wills, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer

Pray for the leadership of the Iranian government, that every decision and action they take in light of the death of their president will be free from demonic influence that could bring about a global catastrophe.

Pray and declare that every mountain of influence in your nation is taken over by God’s people and used to propagate the saving news of the Lord Jesus.

Pray for the rise of Christian prophetic activism, city watchers, gatekeepers, and intercessors in the various mountains of influence. Declare that every policy initiative and law that sets itself against the Gospel in these mountains of influence will be demolished in Jesus' name.
