PRECISE AND DEFINITE PRAYER

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."(Philippians 4:6 NIV)

God wants us to approach Him boldly and confidently, without anxiety or fear. In every situation — no matter how big or small — He calls us to pray with specific, definite requests, and to do so with thanksgiving.

Many people pray vague prayers and then wonder why they don’t see results. God doesn’t respond to generalities; He responds to faith-filled, precise petitions rooted in His Word. Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son"(John 14:13). Notice He didn’t say, “Whatever you wish or hope for.” He said, ask.

General prayers are like soldiers firing in every direction, hoping to hit something. But precise prayers are targeted, focused, and effective. Charles Spurgeon said, “There is a general kind of praying which fails for lack of precision.”

Don’t just pray for “a job” — describe the kind of job, the location, the environment, the salary. Don’t just pray for “healing” — declare exactly what must be restored and affirm what God’s Word says about your health. Be clear and bold in your requests!

Jesus taught us to pray with certainty, knowing that God hears and answers when we align with His will. Stop worrying and start praying precisely, thanking Him in advance for the answer.

I refuse to be vague in my prayers. I pray definite, faith-filled prayers and receive definite, glorious answers. I know God hears me, and I see the manifestation of His goodness in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

-       Be it in our catchment areas, families or places of work

-       We break the influence of satan over their hearts and minds in the Name of Jesus

3.   Prayer for Church Growth

-       We are praying that all our soul winning activities are yielding to growth in all our Churches

Psalm 22:27-28(Msg)

-       Declare that all over the world the Churches of Jesus Christ are overflowing with souls, as the gospel dominates all nations transcending all manmade barriers to its spread

-       As they come, they will be inundated with the Vision our ministry and become strong and vibrant members of our nations
