POWER WITHIN YOU

7/31/2025

“Tell them: As surely as I live," this is the Lord’s declaration, "I will do to you exactly as I heard you say.”—Numbers 14:28 (CSB)

Life is spiritual—and it is governed by words. Understanding this truth gives you a powerful advantage. It means you are not at the mercy of circumstances, opinions, or systems. You are empowered to shape your world by the words you speak—especially when your words are aligned with the Word of God.

Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”This is no small matter. The outcome of your life is rooted in your confession. There are no God-made failures. There are no man-made failures. There are only word-made outcomes.

I recall a woman who believed her life was over when she lost her job. But when she encountered the truth of the Word, she realized her source wasn’t her employer—it was Christ. She began to declare, “I am sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.”Her confession aligned with Heaven’s reality, and before long, her life reflected abundance, favor, and divine provision. Glory to God!

You must never forget: God’s move in your life depends on your agreement with His Word. Some believe God will do whatever He wants regardless of what we say or believe. But that’s not how it works. If that were true, the whole world would be saved already. Yet Romans 10:9 says, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Your salvation was completed over two thousand years ago, but it didn’t become your personal reality until you confessed Jesus as Lord. That’s the principle: the spiritual must be declared to manifest in the physical.

Even Jesus, when teaching the disciples to pray, revealed a foundational truth: “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”(Matthew 6:10). God’s will is already perfect and complete in Heaven, but for it to be done on earth, someone has to speak it into being.

Everything you need—healing, peace, prosperity, wholeness—is already accomplished in Christ and stored in your spirit. But it will remain dormant until you speak it forth.

That’s why God entrusted you with the power of the tongue. He has given you the divine ability to release His will into the earth. Tragically, many use that same power to speak doubt, fear, and death. Yet the spiritual law remains unchanged: “You shall have what you say.”

Numbers 14:28 could not be clearer:“Tell them: As surely as I live... I will do to you exactly as I heard you say.”What you say, Heaven endorses.

So be intentional with your words. Speak life. Speak faith. Speak Heaven’s reality into your everyday life.

Faith-Filled Confession:

Thank You, Father, for the gift of a creative tongue. I choose to speak life, health, peace, prosperity, and victory. I declare what Heaven says about me. My words are aligned with Your Word, and they are producing after their kind. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer Point

Colossians 4:2-4 says, ”Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak”.

2 Thes 3:1-2

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

  1. Pray for ministers—who are under attack from within the very congregations they serve;, misunderstandings, and false accusations, and schemes of the enemy working through division and strife to displace these ministers.

  2. . Pray for ministers who are facing severe persecutions, especially from family that they be strengthened to stand firm in all the will of God.

  3. Pray for minister that new doors of opportunity for ministry be opened to them, and utterance be granted them to proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ unhindered, without fear or reproach, but in power and effectiveness.
