PARTICIPATE WHOLLY

08/19/2024

“Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” (Acts 1:21-22)

It matters how you participate in the church to which the Lord has placed you. Hear me, take in every word that God is sending you right now.  The Bible says, "He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions." (Psalm 107:20)

Hear me, it is your responsibility to attend to the word of God, and your attitude to every devotional,  Lunch Hour service and Sunday meeting should be that God has something to say. As a matter of fact, if you have missed any of these ministry media in the past two weeks, go back to them and listen.

Another thing is to be punctual to meetings and take notes over the next few weeks because God is visiting you especially. Let your posture be that of Habakkuk 2:1-2: "I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it." Refuse to let anything steal away your attention.

If need be, put away social media, TV, and any other distractions peculiar to you so that you can concentrate on receiving the weight of glory for this season. "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food." (Hebrews 5:12)

If I may just put it to you plainly,  we are in an appraisal cycle and your utmost attention to God's word to you over the next six weeks will define you for a very long time. So sustain your attention by putting yourself in the right environments and with the right company.

Participate wholly in and with everything that the Lord is sending to us with the understanding that "in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9)

So let this message be a charge to maintain your attention on the words that God is speaking because, for some, your promotion and ordination may be at stake.

Have a great day!

Faith-Filled Confession

I attend to God's word with utmost attention, cognizant of the fact that I am now in a visitation of the Lord. I hear, to do. And I am blessed, lifted, and fruit-bearing in all my deeds. Hallelujah!
