OUR DIVINE PROTECTION

1/20/2026

2 Samuel 22:2–4

“And he said: The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.

Several years ago, while preparing for an international trip, I felt an unusual uneasiness in my spirit. I immediately discerned that it was connected to my destination. Rather than ignore the prompting, I began to pray in the Spirit concerning my journey. During that time, the Lord led me to Psalm 105:13–15:

“When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

He suffered no man to do them wrong:

Yea, He reproved kings for their sakes; saying,

Touch not Mine anointed, and do My prophets no harm.”

As I read, meditated on, and confessed that scripture, the uneasiness lifted instantly. The following day, the Lord impressed upon my heart the importance of alignment with the Word as a means of dismantling the enterprises of darkness. When you align yourself with God’s Word, you shut down satanic agendas before they ever manifest.

Perhaps you, too, have experienced moments of uneasiness—concerning your children, your spouse, your travel, or situations you couldn’t clearly explain. Often, such moments are promptings from the Holy Spirit, calling you to prayer. Many times, they are an invitation to pray in the Spirit, where mysteries are uttered and divine strategies are released.

You have heard me say this repeatedly: nothing happens in the earth without your consent. Heaven does not impose itself on the earth—it responds to authorization. Jesus taught us to pray that God’s will, which is already established in Heaven, be enforced on the earth. Divine protection is already settled in Heaven; your responsibility is to declare and enforce it here on earth.

This is why we pray over our families, our journeys, our homes, our businesses, and our ministries. Through prayer, we enforce the authority of God’s will over everything connected to us. And this year, we will walk fully conscious of that authority.

 Prayer Points

  • Thank God for His divine protection over your life and the lives of your loved ones.

  • Declare that the Lord is your shield, fortress, and stronghold.

  • Thank Him that evil has been removed from your path and the paths of your loved ones.

  • Declare that none of your business ventures or investments will suffer loss this year.

  • Declare that no strategy of hell against the ministry of GHC or its residents and partners will prevail.

  • Declare that no weapon formed against the Body of Christ at large shall prosper.

Faith-Filled Confession

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh,

they stumbled and fell.”

— Psalm 27:1–2
