Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" John 11:40
Have you ever found yourself in a perplexing situation that defied everything in this world? If you have, then there is hope for you. Mary and Martha's family found themselves in a similar situation with the death of Lazarus, their brother. Not only was he dead, but he had been buried for four days. And Jesus still expected the family to hope for the best. I can imagine some people in the family saying, "Is this man crazy? Lazarus stinks by now. Please let our brother rest in peace. By the way, you should have been here four days ago before he took his last breath." Then Jesus made one of the most ridiculous statements ever made to a grieving family: "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" (John 11:40).
Child of God, the issue is not the complexity of the situation you find yourself in; rather, it is your faith to receive. I have said countless times that God's mercy, grace, anointing, presence, love, and all that Heaven is in you have never been questioned. On the contrary, your willingness to submit to God through faith is what may need to be questioned. In other words, you are the one that determines your victory, health, prosperity, ministry reach, and influence, not God. I remember God telling me not long ago, "Son, I don't owe you or anyone anything. I emptied myself into Christ and gave Him to you. So whatever you need is in Christ Jesus, and He lives in you eternally."
I said that to say this, whatever becomes of you is your responsibility, not God's. For example, if God spoke to you concerning your health and finance, and His Word did not materialize in your life, the blame is not on Him but on you. Hebrews 4:2 says, "For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it." Better still, if you put the Word to work, you will always come back with a testimony. Praise God!
Someone may ask, "Pastor, how do you put the Word to work?" My answer is, ONLY BELIEVE; confess and meditate on God's Word nonstop, and whatever the Lord tells you to do, do it quickly.
So this month of June, the Lord is saying, "And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of Jehovah your God" (Joel 2:26). Now, it is up to you to see that you walk in plenty and be full of thanksgiving all through the month. Failure to live out this Word will deprive God of the glory due His name. But if your desire is to please God and bring glory to His name, then you must walk in the light of this Word and make it your top priority this month.
Remember that everything you need to eat in plenty and be satisfied is already at your disposal in Christ Jesus. All you have to do now is ONLY BELIEVE, and you will see the glory of God.
God bless you.
Faith-Filled Confession:
Because I believe, all things are possible to me. I see no limitations. I am superior to every task that is before me. Christ is my ability, and He has made me more than a conqueror. Hallelujah!
