NOT OF THIS WORLD

10/17/2023

"They are not of the world, even as I am not of it" (John 17:16).

Sickness, disappointment, failure, depression, anger, bitterness, heaviness, unforgiveness, oppression, and all that represents defeat and death are of this world. They can only exist in this world; they disappear in a heavenly atmosphere. In Revelation 21:4-5, the scripture says, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. And the One seated on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new."

Although Revelation 21:4-5 references a new heaven and a new earth, because Christ lives in you and the reality of Heaven exists in your spirit, you don't have to wait to get to Heaven to enjoy and experience the heavenly life. The Holy Spirit in you enables you to live the heavenly life here on earth. And now, you can live a life void of sickness, disappointment, failure, depression, anger, bitterness, heaviness, unforgiveness, oppression, and all that represents defeat and death.

Jesus was not subject to earthly elements because He was not of the world. He understood and functioned with that consciousness. Again and again, He would say, "I am not of the world." Jesus said in John 8:23, referring to the Jews, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world." Then, in His prayer to God for the saints, He said, "They are not of the world, even as I am not of it" (John 17:16). Letting us know that we have the same spirit of dominion as He. Like Jesus, we are not under the spiritual government of the world, and the government of the world has no authority over us. Romans 6:14 says, "Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace." Hallelujah!

Precious saint, you have dominion over sin and sickness. Jesus has chosen you out of the world to live beyond this world. And now He is saying, "Don't be a victim of circumstances. I have called you out from the dominion of sickness and sin. So, make no excuse for sickness or sin." Hallelujah!

Saints, you are not of the world. Therefore, live above the systems of this world. Don't allow the world to determine your health and wealth. Christ in you is the hope of glory!

God bless you!

Faith Confession:

I am not under the rulership of this world. I have gained a surpassing victory over the systems of this world. My victory over sin, sickness, failure, hell, and the cohorts of darkness is eternally settled in Christ. Therefore, I refuse to yield my body as an instrument of sin or sickness. I am in health and know no lack in Jesus' name. Amen.
