NOT BY MIGHT BUT THE HOLY GHOST

"So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.” Zechariah 4:6

Do you know that God is working in you right now? Do you know that there is power flowing in your spirit, such that can heal any sickness, break any yoke of affliction and restore the dead back to life? The Scripture says the power in you is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. Think on that for a moment. You may not feel it, but the very same power that raised Jesus from the dead is working in you right now. And you must believe it for it to change anything around you. 

Philippians 2:13 says, “[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.” Praise God! And if thought that was good, then let’s read Ephesians 3:20: “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].” Notice that it says the power of God to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] resides on the inside of us! 

So my question to you today is this, with this kind of power working in you, How can you not display the supernatural? How can you fail? It’s impossible to fail if you yield to the Holy Spirit. The only time we display things that fall short of the glory of God is when we ignore the directive of the Holy Spirit. But if you yield to the Holy Spirit through His Word, as Jesus and the great saints of old did, people will marvel at the display of divinity in and through you. You will be an oasis of the power and authority of Christ on the earth. You would be a stream of the miraculous.

The Word of God came to Zerubbabel, "...Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty” (Zechariah 4:6). Then he turned and said to what may have presented as a limitation or obstacle, “For who are you, O great mountain [of human obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel...?" God said this with the understanding that there was an operation of the Spirit at work in the life of Zerubbabel. And as long as the Spirit was at work in Zerubbabel, anything that came against him was on a suicide mission and was doomed to fail. Another way of saying it is this, anything that came against Zerubbabel was on a collision course with God Almighty. 

Saint, this is the picture that God has of you. It’s a picture of the miraculous. So hold this picture of the miraculous before you day and night. Meditate on it and don’t let it go. Your surroundings may not agree with it but hold it still and refuse to see anything else. Remember it’s not by might nor by power but by the HOLY SPIRIT.

I am a wonder to my world today. The power of the Holy Spirit in me breaks every limit and contradiction. I advance by the power of the Holy Spirit today. Nothing is impossible unto me in the name of Jesus Christ. I am a walking and talking wonder of God’s grace. Praise God!
